I read on my news wall that this institution was closing in April. I remembered my first visit to Mitzi's way back in 2004 during lunchtime. I had a combo with breaded shrimp and chicken fingers and a Coke. I went for lunch visit, and they were closed to restock for tonight. No worries and waited. A few hours later, there's no queue, great.It was bone-chilling windy outside. A suitable wait and final visit. Only take out for service.

My parents took my today to try the chicken finger for the first time before they close and let me tell you the food was DELICIOUS!!. When we came in to order there was at least 50 people ahead of us and ordered food. It was so amazing seeing the community of Winnipeg come to support her retirement.
