“I read on my news wall that this institution was closing in April. I remembered my first visit to Mitzi's way back in 2004 during lunchtime. I had a combo with breaded shrimp and chicken fingers and a Coke. I went for lunch visit, and they were closed to restock for tonight. No worries and waited. A few hours later, there's no queue, great.It was bone-chilling windy outside. A suitable wait and final visit. Only take out for service.“
“Showed up 10 minutes before opening by accident and the staff still welcomed me in to their restaurant and even took my order. The chicken sandwiches are the best I've had out of all the other fast food joints I've been to including McDonald's, Mary Browns, Chic-Fil-A, A&W, Burger King, and Wendy's. “We sat at our regular table and we didn't have our jackets off yet and our order was ready. Went and got the tray, we got our drinks and sat down. The food was delicious just like the posters show in Popeye's. “Went in and ordered the 13 pc chicken meal with taters, coleslaw and gravy for my daughter's birthday. The chicken was delicious and flavorful as usual. The gravy and coleslaw were good too but we found the taters to be a little on the dry side this time around. But all in all it was good and will still order from Mary Brown's.“

“Mary Brown’s is a Newfoundland staple. Probably more than any other restaurant chain. Everytime I went I held it to those high standards. It’s founders are where I’m from. Now that I’m vegan, I’d love to campaign for plant based. KFC does a great job but I know Mary Brown’s would be unequivocally the best. Please pass request forward.“
“Manager is super nice to deal with on the phone. The meal was for a large group and I must say it was perfect! I can’t honestly complain about anything. Great Job!Also I mentioned that the order would be traveling 90 mins and it was packaged perfectly. Highly recommended“
“Very, very pricey! Very small portions! I paid over $8 for 2 pieces of chicken & taters only. The chicken consisted of a small leg (smaller than you get a Chicken Delight), and a rib with hardly any meat on it. The taters are wedges but not typical in size when you think of potato wedges. They are cut from very small potatoes and cut very thin and are about 2 inches long. There is more potato by volume in a small French fry order at McDonald's than in a small serving of wedges at Mary Brown's. The portion you get is significantly smaller than the two piece chicken and fries at Chicken Delight, which is also cheaper. The chicken is okay; not exceptional. The one thing I did notice is that it's not as greasy as KFC or Chicken Delight. The Sage Creek staff were friendly. Service was fast. The restaurant just opened so it was exceptionally clean. The pricing is prohibitive so I won't be frequenting this restaurant often.“
“Popeyes has the best fried chicken I have ever had so far in Winnipeg. It’s my go to place whenever I crave for fried chicken and their biscuits have my heart too. They always serve fresh food and at the same time their customer service is amazing.Hats off to the team ?“
“I was scared to try another bad chicken place but this place has awesome chicken.The owner was friendly with a calm atmosphere but there was a lot of unused shelves and machines which made it almost unprofessional.It’s fresh and crispy, so pre order or you wait. Wait till it cools down or it burns and you won’t be able to stop eating it’s so good.Parking: It’s a huge parking lot so don’t worry!“

“My grandson and I have eaten chicken from the Kenaston location twice this month. The chicken nuggets and fries were soooooo delicious!!! Tender and juicy for the chicken and tasty for the fries. The staff were very nice, friendly and especially helpful. We will be regulars!!!!“
“Me and my husband tried The Crispy Wing last night and we weren’t disappointed .. We walked in and the lovely lady gave us a very nice rundown of the menu and some suggestions on some flavours of wings .. She was super helpful .. We came home and absolutely loved the wings definitely a 10/10 .. We will definitely be back for more ☺️❤️“
