“I'm from Saskatoon. A couple years ago, I was going to a show at the Burt with a friend who took me here. It was all the right things, so I went back again on my own, the next time I was in town for a show.

It's always busy on show nights. I had a broken leg (still do!) and I didn't want to sit on a high stool. Despite the crowd, space was made for me at a regular table.

Service was fast and friendly. I didn't feel rushed to finish and make room for other patrons. The food was tasty and it was a large portion.

The bathrooms deserve a mention as they are very large, accessible, and clean.

It's a great spot for pub food downtown, whether you're on your way to a show or not.“

“Visited for the first time and was very impressed. Our server was a delight, the wait for food wasn't long at all and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the chicken pot pie and it was divine. Friend had the fish and chips and gave it 2 thumbs up! The atmosphere is very laid back with a mix of traditional and modern. Pricier but the food and the vibes make it so worth it. The ONLY issue - I am a wheelchair user and it was extremely difficult getting in and out of the restaurant. Also the tables are definitely not designed to have a wheelchair under it. 9/10 will visit again!“

“Went today just after the end of the dinner rush so service was a little slow which was to be expected. Ordered a few beers & an order of Angry Sliders, beers took a while to get, food took quite a while tbh but when it did come out there were no disappointments. Not my area of town but I'd travel the extra couple km's instead of going to BP. Their daily specials are also decent if you're on a budget.“

“VLTS. 1 pool table. Occasionally an event or band. Karaoke on the weekends I believe. I've never ordered food here. Don't know if they even have a kitchen to cook in. There's a shuffle board in the back past the washrooms. Quaint lil place to grab a beer. Support your local Legion.“

Server was present but not attentive and when asking for things that we did not have, like napkins while they got them, it just had this underlining tone that we were inconveniencing them. Service was not bad tho, but would have had a better experience if the server was more friendly.“

“Good old fashioned Irish basement dive bar. Good vibes fun times. Not cheap but not expensive, Can get a little too crowded on busy nights. Slightly weird layout so limited availability to see the stage if there's a show. But always a good time to be had“

“We hosted a retirement party last night, and the staff were so great. The service was prompt, the server kept everyone’s bills separate with ease and Brett the sound guy saved the day by working his butt off to make sure our goodbye video played. Great place for an after work party!“

Group of 8 went here between the hours of 8-10P.M. 100% would recommend for people looking to have fun.

Willing to refill iced tea & water which was super nice of them… also got the shot glasses (when we forgot to take them back, so thank you)

Drinks were at an average price… you’re looking between $6-12 per drink unless you want some FANCY STUFF. Then that will run your wallet but drinks were delicious.

Food was also sooooo good, 10/10 on that. Cooked to perfection - cool enough to eat too.

“Great place to hang out for WWE PLE’s. Wasn’t crowded when I went there to watch Wrestlemania. Staff was so chill they let us sit wherever for better viewing angles without the suns glare. I got a deep fried cheesecake for dessert. It taste me good but hard to eat. 3/5 for that particular dessert. Overall will be coming back for WWE PLE’s if needed“

The food was amazing and everyone took extra steps to ensure the gluten free food didn’t come into contact with our other meals. “Garbonzo’s Sports Pub HSC is very well located inside the Canad Inns hotel, with direct connection to HSC and the University of Manitoba. They offer both dine-in service at the restaurant tables and take-out options, which is super convenient if you’re nearby for work, studies, or appointments.

We ordered pizza and they were delicious, especially the sausage and the veggie versions. The restaurant itself is spacious, with a wide variety of food options on the menu, and the service was friendly and efficient.

I totally recommend it if you’re in the area! It’s a great spot to grab something tasty and enjoy a relaxed meal.“

“Always a pleasant experience at Brown's Social House. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Food is very tasty. Generally we go late afternoon but tonight we arrived after 5:30 and experienced a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended.“
