It was my first time ever going to a restaurant of African Heritage, let alone Platinum Amala Spot, and Maurice thoroughly explained every menu item as well as what options I had to pair with each item. He was patient, kind, courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. I recommend his service to anyone who plans to visit, as well as their fufu & goat stew combos! Definitely worth the trip.“

“Food is very delicious. I have been going there with a friend of mine and I really enjoyed the food. The only problem is and it is a very big problem. The meat is way too stiff. It hurt the hell out of your teeth when you have to chew on it if you guys can only, reduce the texture of your meat. It would be absolutely amazing. That’s the only problem that I have and that’s the only reason I give it for stars a little bit more attention on the texture of the meat thank you guys so much.“

“Ok, we decided to try something new and out of our comfort zone. We walked in and their ordering system crashed. Normally, this can stress a kitchen to panic. NOT these guys! They explained what was happening, told us a way to order online and we're very professional. Nicest crew you could want handling your meal. Now the food, flavorful and plentiful. The portion was enormous! Each bite kicks your taste buds right in the ass! And again, I can't say enough about the crew working here, A+ all around.
