“My family and I have enjoyed Devens Deli for a few decades now. Deven, Hetal and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing people who make amazing food. When my family comes to town and I tell them I know where to get the best shrimp salad sandwich, they go back to Virginia knowing the place to go is Devens Deli. The Soft shell crab sandwich is awesome and a good price, as is the fantastic crab cakes (which can give any of those “4 star restaurants” a run for their money) 🦀👍. “The three person staff was absolutely on top of everything. These were the best hotdogs I’ve had in a long time. The hot dogs are fried to deliciousness. I had mine the classic way. The milkshakes are thick and delicious, but the staff is really where it’s at. Kind, helpful, and fun the staff really brings it to work.“

“I tried the Nashville hot chicken sandwich a couple weeks ago. Thought it was fantastic. We did it again last night and was super disappointed. I don't know if we ordered something incorrectly or it was made wrong. “This review is long overdue. I don’t visit Sunny’s (the breakfast place) often because I usually don’t carry cash. However, when I do go, the service is always exceptional, and you can be in and out quickly. A breakfast sandwich will cost you about $5-$6. If you want toasted bread with butter and jelly, it adds an extra $1. Adding cheese will also cost an additional $1. Sandwiches start at $4 before you start adding the toasted bread, cheese and other things.

They offer muffins in flavors like blueberry, chocolate, and banana nut, as well as fruit options such as watermelon ($3), pineapple ($2), and melon. You'll find a variety of drinks from Everfresh to clear fruit juices. They also sell chargers, earphones, and other accessories.

If you want a small side of grits or something similar, it’s $3 for a small and $4 for a large. You really can’t beat prices like that. Some customers have complained about the lack of Apple Pay or card options, but I believe that if they offered those, there would be added taxes. You can think of it as a way to keep things affordable and simpler for both sides.

Additionally, if you want to add cheese to your grits, it costs $1, just like it does for the sandwiches. They will add sugar to your grits at no extra charge if you request it. Overall, you can’t find better prices than this compared to other breakfast places that charge more for basic items like toasted bread, butter, and jelly.“

“Vibrant place, wide selection of food. Spacious, seating is ample. I'd rate higher if it weren't for the aggressive and nasty bathroom attendant who repeatedly tried to pick a fight with me. Maybe it's a hostile work environment and she has to make herself feel empowered by taking it out on complete strangers. I have no idea. If you have to use the restroom, keep your head down and get in and out as quickly as possible.“

“There appeared to be only one person on duty at the time. She was extremely slow and appeared to be very distracted by the outside of the building. I approached the counter and began to give my order. The person on duty left the counter and proceeded to get a chair to prop open the doorway.
As I ate my sandwich the person on duty did this again with another customer. It was rather weird.“

“I live in Indiana and was tasked with ordering food for the reception after my dad's memorial service at Charlestown in Catonsville, MD. We were going to have someone pick up sandwiches from Costco but it would mean they would not be able to attend the service. I called some other places but received poor customer service. I remembered how much my dad liked Subway. My siblings took him there often. So, I called what I thought was the Subway next to the Giant by Charlestown but apparently I called a different franchise down the road and I'm thankful. I talked to a lovely woman who said she would have the owner contact me ASAP which he did! Peter (P.J.) was patient with me and helpful from beginning to end. He delivered exactly what was ordered and on time. P.J. responded to my texts and answered my questions promptly and provided the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. He really took a load off my shoulders and I am grateful to him. I highly recommend you support his franchise!!!“

“I have a Great Love of McAlister's and could not believe Maryland has one. I was in the area and ran to make sure it was the real deal. Upon entering I was welcomed by the enthusiastic Sam & ordered quite a bit in my excitement. The stars of my order were the BLTA(extra avocado & bacon) and the red beans & rice. “Never being here it took me a minute to look over the menu. The guy at the register gave me a moment to look things over and then gave me some recommendations. Not just what his favorites were but asked me what type of things I liked and then narrowed down the options! I ordered the Spicy Cajun Chicken sub with Fries. The sub was amazing. Super delicious and had a decent kick. It was toasted to a great crispy crunch without being too hot. The fries were fresh, hot, crispy, and very tasty! I would recommend this place. “Look I'm not a huge fan of Jimmy John's food but I decided to give them another shot. I have to say unfortunately I'm still not a fan of it. With that being said the employees were friendly, the restaurant was very clean, and my meal was fresh. I sort of feel bad for giving them a 4 stars instead of five but I simply can't get over the price. A drink, sub, chips, and a brownie on the promo come out to $15. If we compare them to fast food then using deals on apps you can either get more food or the same amount of food for less money at competitors. If we compare them to fast casual restaurants then sure $15 isn't bad but you are getting much higher quality food at pretty much every fast causal restaurant. If my meal was about $2-3 cheaper I would feel more comfortable giving them a 5 stars.“

“Grabbed a breakfast sandwich here and wasn't disappointed! Fast service and the sandwich was great. There was also a good variety of beverages in the cooler and other snacks on the shelf. I did have to check other reviewers pictures to find it as it can be easy to just walk by and not notice, don't miss out though!“

“I pass 2 Subways to come here because the service is good and the restaurant is really clean. I really love the fact that they was their hands after touching anything that's not the food. This is the best Subway in the area. The one on Arundel Mills Blvd is good as well. Can't go wrong with either location.“

“It's the only place that's open in my area 24/7 only half of the employees can understand what you are saying which does make it hard when trying to build my sandwich the way I want it but otherwise it's a good little place for a late night bite.
I saw others comments about the homeless people just ignore them and you will be fine they will not do anything because there is always a security guard that stands outside by them so they can't cause terrible

Vegetarian options: I think it is labeled what is and what isn't idk I eat real food sorry but I'm pretty sure I saw a little sign above what things where veg.

Parking: You can park next to the subway or on st.paul St. But on St.Paul you'll have to pay but I think the pay cuts off at a curtain time not sure I usually just walk there

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there is a very easy to access wheelchair ramp it's kinda tight so idk if it'll fit no scooter type of chair but a basic roll n go would be fine“

“This is now the *only* Subway I go to. Frankly, I never went to Subway until I discovered this place. The ingredients here seem exceptionally fresh & I am never shortchanged on them. I kno older reviews have a lot of complaints about not getting all the ingredients, etc.- but that must have been under a previous management. It's why I always sort reviews by most recent first.I always have particular tastes w/my orders & there is one employee at this location who knows exactly how to make my sandwich and he is always there when I go. (I will get his name & update my review.) I get the Double Monster in a wrap (instead of a roll) w/specific choices (Beef, Bacon, Pepper Jack Cheese, Chipolte sauce & all the toppings except jalapeños). He puts the ingredients in a specific order that he knows will work best. And tho it is a challenge to get the wrap to roll around all those ingredients - he gets it done perfectly every time. It's an art to watch & everyone in the store stops to watch him do it. The other employee kindly calls him from the back to come out when they see me enter the store...b/c they know I would like him to make my sandwhich. The other employee has made my sandwhich & did a perfectly good job - but there is a special rapport I have w/the one who regularly makes my sandwhich. And we have fun while he makes it.I always leave a good cash tip tho I pay by credit card for the sandwhich. I do this in most food shops & restaurants I go to b/c I don't know for sure whether the employees get the full tip in the credit card. Some places, the owners take a share of the tip on credit cards. It's the main reason I still carry cash around :-). Will update w/employee's name.“
