“Perfect seating ~ lots of light & view of the water.Unusual preparation of calamari, not the usual tempura batter, but very tasty, & healthy, with shredded carrots, chopped celery & radish. The shrimp salad on croissant was delicious as usual, and cream of crab 🦀 soup ~ delivered in error and kindly offered to us to keep ~ was one of the best I've had ~ creamy, not too spicy. Only ‘complaint' was the prickly pear margarita was in a very small cocktail glass, not the more generous margarita glass. Christine was friendly & attentive.“

Scrumptious and interesting food fare, and truly warm and memorable service. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been lovely, but special mention to Eric, Daniel, and Grant, whose hospitality has been inviting and impeccable every time. Emily was great from start to finish and helped me make a good menu. I asked for the order to be ready by 1030am and they made it happen. Everyone loved the food. You don't win friends with salad. “I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.“

“Nice place, but confusing rules take away from the experience.[The bad] This place has at least three sections with different rules. Entrance host made me go back to the car to drop my towel so I would not get “kicked out by staff” for having a visible towel. The beach section had a $60 minimum charge that was only clear when we tried to find a sitting spot. Water access is restricted to the ankles height, and water front sits meant having to deal with the constant patrol of confused guests (one family was initially asked to leave bc they ate inside and had not paid for the food within the beach section). The menu was limited at the beach (no dessert, soup, or crabs allowed)[good] The food was good, the drinks were made with fresh fruit juice, some of the staff were really friendly, and the families that cracked the code created a beautiful environment. We had a crab cake sandwich, fish and chips, and hush puppies.“

But since I am a chef and I’ve worked in several restaurants, the difference between how something is cooked one day can be a difference between who’s working that day. They do make some of the best pizzas around! They have a bar, game nights, special pizza nights, buy one get one on Tuesday and even Social nights where you can cook things in the kitchen. “Went on a Monday Night. They were setting up for Trivia night and it was packed which you don’t see normally anywhere on a Monday night. They were also going to be showing the Baltimore Ravens game so
Lots of folks on Ravens jerseys, hats etc. Seemed like a fun place and everyone there new each other so a locals Pub. Food was very good and good quality as well and prices very reasonable. If you are in the area and needing a casual environment then this place is perfect.“
