“I discovered this gem a few years ago, and have had a delicious & enjoyable experience each time. I'd also like to give a shout out to Matt (the long dark hair guy), our server & all around attentive employee. He has a great disposition, funny sense of humor & you can tell he really enjoys his job!! Thanks”
“I stopped by here during my lunch time as I am performing electrical work in the area. They were very nice, fast, and food was delicious! (General tsos chicken) is what I got!”
“Love the ambiance and great customer service. The fresh oysters were awesome and Avital was very informative on helping us choose what to purchase. We will be back with our friends.Parking: Free parking ++ was definitely a plus.”
“Had a great time first time trying at the restaurant with my hubby! Very fresh foods and amazing service (Thank to Frank) in this beautiful place in center! Super convenient location:) love it ❤️”
“The most deliciously innovative meal that we’ve experienced within memory. Modern, Greek-accented food, elevated by sophisticated yet subtle use of herbs, spices, dressings and sauces. The menu contains numerous vegetarian offerings, although carnivores will also be happy. Excellent cocktails and drinks, attractive setting, efficient and pleasant service. The sole disappointment: noise. If you’re not enamored with loud acoustics, try to reserve a more quiet booth or visit during off-peak hours.***DETAILS: I was very skeptical about booking at Melina because the menu appeared complex and fussy. My concern was that the results would be discordant and underwhelming. Happily, I was dead wrong. Melina’s chef is one of those rare souls capable of orchestrating a symphony of flavors for the palate. We loved our charred baby gem salad (enhanced by its light and sprightly dressing); the squash app (brightly and unexpectedly accented with pear, black garlic and fried kale), the portobello main (deep-flavored and satisfying) and the lamb neck (generous and succulent.) The bougatso dessert, capped with a remarkably smooth Greek brandy, offered a celebratory ending. Looking forward to returning.”
“Our family loves Taipei Tokyo's food. We always use curbside pickup and have never been disappointed. Quick service, discounts, delicious food and a huge selection of dishes. We recently placed an order for eight people and they all enjoyed their dinners very much!”
“Some of the best Ethiopian food I've had! The owner is so sweet and took such great care of us. Highly recommend the samosas, lamb, veggie combo with injera. Finish the meal off with traditional Ethiopian coffee you'll be so happy and satisfied. 10/10 would recommend. I'll be coming back the next time I'm in the DC/Silver Spring area!”
“El Mercat is a stellar Spanish restaurant that deserves every one of its five stars. The tapas are incredibly delicious, the paella is a standout, and the overall ambiance is fantastic. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported to Spain with flavorful dishes and a lively atmosphere. Whether you’re a Spanish cuisine enthusiast or just looking for a memorable dining experience.”
“Pesto Pizza - Ahh, can't get beyond it. A perfect basilly flavor, just right cheese, enough crunchy pine nuts to enhance the flavor. And with the best ginger soda in the area. The red pizzas are great too, but the pesto is the best of its kind. A well curated, short list of beers and hand made sodas. I plan events in Kensington to Fankly's limited hours.Parking: Parking is very limited in front of Frankly and on the street. Follow signs to public parking.”
“Very popular, often there’s a line, but they’re so efficient that it moves quickly. Quality is consistent and always first rate. One scoop is generous and sufficient for me.”
“I got myself a yummy lunch this week. I love the fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. I love that I can eat meatless and still feel satisfied and full. I highly recommend this gem of a place.”
“I live in Columbia Md and wanted to find a coffee shop near my friends who lives in the Rockville, Kenningston area which is rated a 5 Star. This was nice but very small for my Trek group. Also no real healthy choices.”
“Omg, District Falafel - what a real treat! As a Palestinian, I rarely eat at ME restaurants cause it's easier, less disappointing and always better to just go to mom's! My sister/friend introduced me to this place and I enjoyed it so much that I will even tackle the beltway to go into Bethesda from VA! The manager (M'hammad)/counter/table (Edwin?) staff were extremely nice, friendly, patient and just really kind! Pricing was quite reasonable & the same regardless of lunch/dinner - a real bonus. Easy parking, casual and just the right size inside. We had an amazing set of beautifully presented dishes before us incl: Adas soup (thinner than I'm used to, but SUPER delicious!), the falafel was so fantastic that I took a few dozen home to share w/family (will definitely try the spicier ones on next visit!), chicken shawarma & kifteh were nicely flavored & tender, and all the side dishes, hummus, baba ghannouj, salads, pickled items, pita bread hit the mark. Thank you for everything - Can't wait to come back!”
“Excellent attention from the staff, especially our waitress Katherine, a very friendly and attentive Colombian.Good service and very good food. It's a pleasure and we will return.”
“Absolutely DELICIOUS!! Amazing schawarma and chicken. And the falafel and soup was outstanding!! Staff went out of their way to accommodate us and make sure we received everything in our order. We came back and hosted a birthday party there and they were incredible at handling our big group of kids!! Don’t think twice — GO NOW! You won’t regret it. Portions are big. Food is fresh. Staff is wonderful.”
“I always come here for the bao bei buns which are Taiwanese gua bao. It has a nice pork belly filling with pickled vegetables and sweet peanuts. It’s perfect when eaten warm and fresh and would highly recommend you to get it! There is no seating though and they work out of a warehouse by the way.”
“Been coming to this guy for almost 2 years now. Where ever he goes, I follow. Food is always good. Never had a bad meal. I high recommend this food truck. Its crazy how he does it all by himself. Hopes he opens a restaurant one ”
“This place was great. The service was good, the food came out fast and was really good. The only thing was that the noodles got soggy really fast. The banh mi was good. It was big and filled pretty well too. Overall a very good pho place and will probably come again sometime.”
“I went to this restaurant yesterday and I loved it! For 1 the food was phenomenal ( do not pass out the Pastéis de Nata cause they are absolutely delicious) and Manuel, our server, was so knowledgeable and gave us amazing recommendations. For appetizers We had the basket of bread, which was so warm, the caldo verde with their authentic chouriço (would highly recommend trying if you like soup) and the shrimp in a lemon and garlic sauce which was divine. For entrees we had the octopus, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS DISH and the Bacalhau and it was absolutely amazing, it felt like I was back in Europe. The food was so so so good that we just dug into it and forgot to take pictures! But we have one of the Pastéis de Nata, which is the original recipe from Lisbon.”
“I had the pleasure of experiencing Talia'z Cuzina for the first time when they catered our Christmas lunch at the office, and it was a delightful culinary adventure. Every item on their menu was a true delight, but the braised beef brisket stole the show for me with its incredible flavors and tenderness. I was so impressed that I couldn't resist bringing some home, and to my delight, even my husband, who is quite the food critic, fell in love with their dishes. We ended up visiting their restaurant to pick up more to enjoy at home. Talia'z Cuzina is a definite must-try for anyone craving delicious and satisfying meals that leave a lasting impression”
“Wow! Amazing food! Our server was fantastic. She did a great job of explaining the menu and made some fantastic recommendations. I loved the guava and cheese empanadas. They could be a great dessert. The mojitos were delicious and packed with mint. I recommend the pernil but I enjoyed all the pork options. I’ll be back to continue sampling the menu!”
“Seriously do NOT pay attention to the nagearive reviews. This place is 10x better than MOBY DICK around the corner. They give you complimentary bread and dip. Their kabob is the tenderest and juiciest in town. I don't know what oil and butter mix they use to cook it, but it is to die for. Best of all, they don't nickel and dime you for grilled onions, bread, and sauce like moby dick does. Honestly, woth mama joon around, I expect moby dick to go out of business soon.”
“Went to get dinner with some friends and the food and service was amazing!I got the New York steak and the mango margarita and both were tasty.Ivanna took really good care of us and she was very knowledgeable on the menu.”
“Had several dishes here, and they were all great. Don't be afraid to ask for it spicy and that's how you get it. Service was excellent and prompt, food came out very quickly. Pricing was very reasonable for the area and the portion provided.Parking: Plenty of easy, free parking directly in front of the business.”
“Don't let the fact that it's in a gas station fool you, the food is fantastic! You also get large portions for the price. Definitely will be a regular at this ”
“Delicious Taiwanese and Southeastern Chinese food. The fried chicken and pork dishes are excellent. This is a hole in the wall type restaraunt attached to a gas station - expect delicious home cooking type food, but dont expect much atmosphere.”
“We recently discovered this hidden gem, and we were absolutely thrilled with everything! Can’t wait yo try their Sunday brunch! For my kid's birthday party, we decided to order from Emi Rossi, and the pies were a huge hit with all the guests. It's easily our favorite pizza place so far!”
“I've enjoyed many nights of great music and hanging out with friends at this cool retro tavern with plenty of room for dancing! Top notch musicians love playing here and when they have a night off, they enjoy hearing other great musical acts here because it feels like home. You won't be disappointed--tell them Wolf & Connie sent you here! :-)”
“We had no idea this gem existed in Wheaton. A must try for anyone looking for quality food and excellent service. My wife loved her steak and my stuffed shrimp with pasta was awesome. Sorry the photos show half eaten food. It looked so good that I forgot to take pictures before we started eating!”
“I visited this winery and thought it was really cute. It is more of a tasting room, and has wines that were blended locally but grown elsewhere. I think the names of the wines were fun and the prices were decent. The happy hour was amazing and there were a lot of people there to take advantage of the discounts on food and bottles. It is a smaller room and doesn't feel like a winery necessarily, but I still think it's a cozy place for after work or to catch up with someone over a glass of wine!”
