Brick Bistro is a whole vibe! 🔥 The jerk snapper is AMAZING…. perfectly seasoned. Honestly, everything on the menu is good, and the atmosphere makes it even better. 100/10! Definitely coming back.
Great concept. We were greeted by the owner and host. Super friendly. We has a chance to tour the different rooms and main dining space. Each room has a different concept/color/setup. All rooms have seating and a TV. Oh- and you can control the AC. The menu is limited, but some good food choices. Things to keep in mind: it's BYOB (but there's a bar right next door). Brick Bistro Hampden is a Black-owned restaurant that offers exceptional hospitality, great food, and an inviting atmosphere. The owner and host are friendly and welcoming, and the owner personally DJs for the rooms. Guests can tour the different rooms and main dining space, each with a different concept, color, and setup. All rooms have seating and a TV, and guests can control the AC. The menu is limited but has good food choices, including jerk snapper, kale Ceasar Salad, lamb chops, and wings. The food tastes good, though some dishes were room temp-cool, and steak cuts varied. Prices were high for the quality. Service is sweet but slow, with waits over an hour. There is a surprise room fee, and larger rooms cost $250 for 3 hours. Parking is horrible, and it is BYOB with a bar next door. The space can get rowdy and smoky, which may bother guests with respiratory conditions. Dessert ran out, but the owner comped it. With some changes, this place could be great.
