Chicken usually very good but was terrible Saturday
Erdman chicken is always busy. The chicken & fries ( western or regular) r always hot. Don't believe the lake trout sign. They hen't had real lake trout in years, just some fish disguised as lake trout. The whiting may be real since plenty of places still list & sell whiting. The salads, fruit & dessert items r good also. If u can call that order in b4 u go so u won't have to stand in that line as long
Arguably the best chicken box in the city...

Erdman Seafood & Chicken is a local favorite known for its delicious and consistently well-prepared food. The bone-in lake trout, breaded and seasoned to perfection, and the juicy, flavorful chicken wings are standout menu items. The western fries are also a popular choice. While the service can be hit or miss, especially when younger staff are working, the food quality remains high. Customers recommend arriving early or calling ahead to avoid long waits, as the restaurant's popularity can lead to busy periods. Overall, Erdman Seafood & Chicken provides a satisfying dining experience with its tasty and affordable menu offerings.
