Gallery Grill & Poke House

This place is centrally located in Mount Vernon near the Walter’s Museum. It has excellent poke bowls and the steak/shrimp sandwich is great. I try to eat here once or twice a month. The owners are very sweet and it’s mostly to-go although there are a few tables.

Came here after visiting the George Peabody Library. This spot is delicious! I ordered the salmon bowl and my partner ordered the General Tso's chicken. I'm normally one who wants to build their own poke bowl, however I loved that this bowl had everything I already wanted inside (edamame, avocado, seaweed salad, cucumber, and salmon). Just tried this place at the recommendation of a co-worker. I was not disappointed! The food is fresh and flavorful! It is tough to find a poke bowl in which I like every component, but this one certainly fit that bill. I had the salmon bowl, and it was delicious! The vegetables complimented the salmon perfectly, and the marinade over it all was really good without being overbearing. I ordered online and it was ready when I got there to pick it up.
