Java Moon Bar & Cafe

First, I have to apologize for stating a few days ago that I never used my debit card at this Cafe. I never heard of it and forgot I gave my daughter-in-law my debit card to get some sandwiches before we got on the AMTRAK to travel to NY.I must say that the sandwiches were very delicious. Again, I apologize for thinking someone used my debit card. Getting older is no joke…….lolololol. I hope to get some more food in the near future. Best regards, Deborah

Got to the Penn Station early so could have some time to visit with friends before the train. Glad to see Java Moon open for an early lunch. A variety of choices in prepared food, fresh made sandwiches, soup, pastries, beers, drinks and Starbucks coffee. The bar at one end was already busy. Orders at the cash register; Service was prompt. The breakfast sandwich on bagel and the BLT were tasty. The pastries were fresh. Plenty of seating. Easy to hear train announcements.

I went to their bar in the back and I had a really good experience. The bartender was very nice. She suggested the right kind of IPA and I tried their local drinks of Baltimore. Very tasty and I enjoyed every drop. I didn't have their food so I can't speak to that. But I'm sure it's decent given other people reviews regarding pre-package sandwiches - lol. I guess it's what would you expect on a transit train station in the heart of Baltimore. This is a quick pit stop for drink...read full review
