After years and years of hearing about this place (mixed reviews) I decided to try it on a Friday to get their specials. The service isn’t great, to start with. It wasn’t bad, but also not good. I ordered clams casino for an appetizer. What they brought out was atrocious. Clam shells filled with mush with no flavor and no visible clam inside. Worst clams casino I’ve ever eaten- this was my thought after the first “clam” I ate. The second clam I ate shot out my mouth...read full review

Michael's Steak & Lobster House is a must-try restaurant that serves exceptional food. This family-run, "old school" Baltimore restaurant may look like it's stuck in time, but the food and service are top-notch. The steaks are massive and ultra juicy, cooked to perfection, and the seafood dishes are equally impressive. The menu offers a range of options, including prime rib, seafood-stuffed prime rib, seafood-stuffed shrimp, crabcake, scallops, and flignet mignon. The chef's attention to detail ensures that every dish is cooked to perfection. Guests have praised the 40oz porterhouse and the 32oz prime rib as delicious choices. The warm and crusty bread is also a highlight. While some sides may be mediocre, they are clearly not the reason why people come here. The staff is welcoming and attentive, with spunky servers providing outstanding service. With a throwback atmosphere and over 50 years of experience, Michael's Steak & Lobster House is a gem that is sure to impress. It is definitely worth the trip, especially for the Tuesday prime rib special, which is said to be the best in the city and comes with amazing homemade bread. Parking is available around the building to the side, making it convenient for visitors.
