The space is stunning, the wallpaper is incredible, the views are incredible, and every detail is designed to make the night feel elegant and effortless. It’s the perfect backdrop for a truly Baltimore wedding.“

“My wife and I decided at the last minute to go out on a Saturday evening and we picked Marie Louise Bistro for dinner. We sat outside and had a genuinely wonderful meal! While you often see the same staff there for years, our server this time was young and new to the industry. Despite that, you could tell she had received training from the other staff, and she did a fantastic job. A very good sign! She had another waiter show her how to open and pour the wine, but aside from that we’d have barely known she was new to the job. As for the food, it was excellent. I’d give 9 or 10 out of 10 for everything and my wife enjoyed her meal too. I had a 3-course that included a surf and turf special, and my wife had duck confit. It’s incredibly reasonably priced for the quality of food IMO. A gem of a restaurant! If any of you reading this have never been then I’d definitely recommend a visit!“

“This is the third time we have been to this diner. The wings are very good. They have a very inclusive menu which is very helpful with people with allergies. It is also the only place I found an option without having to alter anything in the recipe. I wish they would add a df notation on the menu like they have gf and v. I was so happy to find delicious hummus and cauliflower pita. The bartender was thoroughly looking through their allergy menu (they need an updated one) which was very nice. It is busy there but today we really only had to wait for the check. They also have dairy free milk shakes!“

“This is a very cool place. I just went so my kid could check out the rated chess tournament (blitz G3+2) that happens every Monday night. Charles Village Chess hosts the Monday blitz and G20 quads Friday elsewhere, I believe. There was not only chess , but Mah Jong being played, good beer, live music outside, a room with like 30 operating pinball machines, another room full of vintage video games. Nice artsy, laid back vibe. Diverse crowd of friendly people. They only serve drinks, and a tiny bit of merch, so BYO outside food ok. All the brewery tanks and pipes visible...and this was on a Monday night. I wonder how Fridays are. I'm a fan. My son had fun playing chess...and reported the players were strong, which he appreciated . I had a beer while I waited for him to compete. We'll be back.“

“I recently read an article that said the best bakery in Maryland is Ovenbird. They are wrong. IT IS THIS PLACE. Fantastic bakery -- the croissants are fabulous. If I had to critique the place it would be they need a 2nd barista, or a cheap intercom system. The tiny place only holds 6 people (and a dog!) and 5 of those are standing around waiting for their coffee.“

“Yesterday was my first visit to Corner Juice Bar, and I absolutely loved it! I ordered a fresh wheatgrass shot—it was both affordable and made to perfection. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. The decor has a nostalgic charm that took me right back to my childhood—especially the mini piano and gold telephone. “1:39 4 ..ll 5G§ 83 < Reviews Koba Café First coffee shop of 2023! Koba is a cozy shop on the corner. The young lady at the counter was friendly. She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“

“Our first visit to Café Los Sueños was truly memorable. After reading the café’s glowing reviews, my husband and I decided to visit as a way to unplug from technology, relax, and enjoy our favorite books; and we couldn’t have made a better choice.

From the moment we walked in, Carlos, the owner, greeted us with such warmth and kindness. We had a friendly conversation with him both at the beginning and throughout our time there, which added such a personal touch to the experience. We ordered a Horchata latte with oat milk and an Ethiopian coffee and both were absolutely delicious.

But what truly stood out was the atmosphere that Carlos and his wife have created. It’s more than just a coffee shop… it’s a beautiful little community. Almost everyone who walked in seemed to know Carlos, and there were heartfelt, lively conversations happening all around. It felt like a safe space to share and connect; a rare and precious thing in today’s fast-paced world.

We will absolutely be returning to Café Los Sueños to disconnect and recharge. And if you visit, be sure to ask Carlos about the story behind the T-shirt framed on the wall. ;)
