“I recently got to visit the Pure Green Dupont location, FINALLY! As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Krystal (one of the owners) and the vibe was extremely welcoming. Not only was the vibe a breath of fresh air (given the current energy in the city), but it was extremely clean. I could definitely see myself just pulling up to get work done, have a quick meeting, visit after a workout or yoga class. I ordered the Pink Dragon w/ Coconut Creme Swirl (please make sure you add that for an extra razzle dazzle) & it was amazing!! Pictures do not do it justice. Honey, you gotta try it for yaself! I forgot I got the Grape Hydr8 pressed juice before I left. I drank it so fast before I was able to take a picture. I usually stay away from grapes because they are so naturally sweet, but this drink was extremely refreshing after running around all day (I am a fan now, I can admit)... Overall, my experience 10/10, atmosphere 10/10, service 10/10, food/drink 10/10! I will absolutely return and I highly recommend this location to any & EVERYONE!“

I picked up three items this morning at Morning My Day. The choices were plentiful and tempting. A coconut braid-not too sweet, just perfect for early morning with coffee or tea, a curry pork sung bread that was absolutely hands down delish-heated it in the oven for 5 minutes and ate it with hot sauce, and a purple yam flower bun-delicious but know that the bread consistency might not be what you're used to? It's a very moist dense dough. The lady had a genuinely welcoming smile. The shop was easy to find. I found parking quickly. There is one table, maybe two. It's more of a carry-out place. I will be back.“

They did forget one of our food items so I had to ask, but they solved it right away and the worker in charge of calling food helped us find a spot to sit. That being said, the atmosphere is kind of hectic, it was SUPER busy, which this place is popular so it makes sense. Seating is super limited and it seems like they have more people going for food than to sip on a coffee and work so there were a handful of people sitting with laptops at huge tables working while tons of people ordering food didn't have a place. Feels like they need to just kind of lean into what they want to be and have a order first system then get seating. Other than that, inside is a vibe and very aesthetic!“

From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with genuine smiles and a welcoming attitude. Stopped by More Than Java Café and it absolutely lived up to the name. I grabbed the Salmon Egg & Cheese sandwich, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together—definitely not your average breakfast sandwich. I paired it with the Island Paradise Smoothie, and that was a win all on its own: smooth, refreshing, and packed with tropical flavor.

The staff really made the experience even better. They were welcoming, friendly, and patient, taking the time to make sure everything was right and offering great energy from the moment I walked in. You can tell they genuinely care about both the food and the people they’re serving.

What also stood out is the variety on the menu—plenty of great options, and everything I saw coming out looked just as good as what I ordered. And if you’re planning something special, they also prepare charcuterie boards, which are perfect for events or even to share while you’re visiting the café.

“Stopped in for a quick and lite lunch around 1 p.m. and had next to no wait. I ordered the Fig & Prosciutto toast as well as the Tropi-Kale smoothie. The smoothie was excellent, and the large size is a great value over the medium - $9.99 for a smoothie, but that is in line with Tropical Smoothie and other places that offer similar products. The toast was fairly disappointing though, for $9.49 the piece of toast was much smaller than anticipated. I believe it was sourdough but the size of the toast was maybe 1/3 smaller than anticipated and for the price I would have opted for another menu item. As far as taste goes, the prosciutto was decent but the fig jam was disappointing. I will be back for the smoothie but I will avoid toast items in the future.“

This quaint, lowkey spot, tucked in the corner of Georgia Avenue and easy to walk by, is a MUST visit. The hospitality is unlike most cafes. They're attentive, kind, and make you feel secure in a home away from home feel. The Ethiopian coffee is some of the richest and boldest in the city, and if you want a huge wake up, get the ginger coffee. The fresh juice is refreshing and revitalizing, and always hits the spot. The pastries and sandwiches are solid as well, but by far if you're going to visit, get the Ful or Ful special, its a beautiful, rich spread that is my personal go to. I recently stopped by the Brookland location after walking through the nearby farmers market and was pleasantly surprised. There were just a couple of people ahead of me, and the staff was fast, efficient, and genuinely friendly. The café itself was spotless, which immediately set a great tone.
