By the way, it is hard for me to believe this restaurant does not get 5 stars! We travel all the way from VA to this place at least two times a month. We just love it!!! P.S. I read the reviews that did not give them 5 stars and feel those reviews may not be fair to them. As an example, one review gave them a 4-star commenting food is great, quality is great, but expensive. Yes, if you compare this place with most cheap Chinese all you can ear places, $33 does seem expensive. However, fresh and high-quality food cost me. I am willing to pay extra for good, fresh food. As another example, I was shocked to see a review giving them only 3 stars commenting she got sick (even though she said she loved the food there). I was wondering if she did not cook her food well in the hot pot, or she couldn't handle the spices.“

“Great food and service, but disappointed that they have been out of AC for two months. They need to tell their customers at the door before they are seated. Not right especially if customers have respiratory issues. Some in the restaurant that day were experiencing discomfort Stay away from the Rockville Location until they fix the AC“

“Great atmoshere, high-end stylish dining room, comfortable seating. The salmon dish was delicious and a large portion. The spinach rice side dish was so delicious! The Ravini Politiko, coconut cake was the best I ever ate! The Thalissina, seafood pasta had plenty of seafood in it and delicious. Even the cappaccino was delicious, very smooth, no bitterness and taste great with dessert! The server, Baris, was attentive, friendly and did a great job taking care of us. Great place to eat, homemade dishes and desserts! Highly recommend it. I will be back!“

“This restaurant is great. My wife and I have chose this over Pho Nom Nom but yesterday was a disappointment. Advertised to close at 7p, we walk in at 6:40p to say the kitchen is closed. 20 mins is enough time to put soup together for us eat it and leave. That being said, we were really craving some pho and we found Pho 81 in Germantown. They close at 8p and I hate to say I will chose Pho 81 over BooBoo Pho because it was beyond delicious and it was a slight bit cheaper.“

“This place is a hidden gem! The owner is the one who took care of my order and he was the sweetest man! He recommended the lamb schwarma and the falafel. And they were incredible!! Seriously the best Mediterranean food I’ve had! I really appreciated that the owner explained that he makes all of the food to order and nothing it “ready to eat” because he wants to provide the freshest, best food to his customers. There’s a great shared courtyard area right out front with picnic tables. Highly recommend! And the owner gave me a taste of the baklava - it is sooooo good!“

“I had an amazing experience at Silver Diner thanks to our waiter, Badr. From the moment we sat down, he was quick, attentive, and genuinely on top of everything. He checked in at all the right times without ever feeling intrusive, and made sure we had everything we needed.

What really stood out was his personality — friendly, upbeat, and funny. He added little jokes and light conversation that made the meal feel even more enjoyable. You can tell he really enjoys his job and cares about giving great service.

I would say there are Mediterranean restaurants I like better in Bethesda and DC, but as for Rockville this might be my favorite. Therefore, I probably wouldn't go too out of my way to come here but I think it's a very nice option if you live nearby.“

He helped me pick the RC paper plane, he described the cocktail perfectly it was just like he said a bit sweet and smokey. We started with the small seafood tower, good selection of fresh seafood. I had the lamb chops, they were well seasoned, and so tender. Great date night place or if you're celebrating a special occasion.“

What makes them stand out is the cost conscience menu, fresh tasting food, and a staff mostly local high school kids that are professional with can do attitude. Right now I’m raving about something as simple as stewed tomatoes as a complementary side dish. Their breakfast foods including creamed chipped beef fresh. Their lunch and dinner foods bring you back, especially the open faced beef sandwich with mash potatoes and gravy, to a simpler time. Check out their menu and ask them about their pies.“
