“As with every Chipotle I visit, the tables were all dirty. I have never seen another food service chain with such consistently dirty tables. Surely corporate trains the managers on how to manage their employees' time. There never seems to be a shortage of employees at any Chipotle I have visited. Other fast food businesses work with fewer people and rarely have dirty dining rooms and overflowing trash cans (also a common theme at Chipotle restaurants). An easy solution would be to require each employee to wow tables, empty trash and check the floors and THEN go on break. It is also not unusual to see an employee eating in the dining room with this madness around them.

I have worked in fast food at several locations and know this company can do better.“

“I cannot express to you how much I go here, it's a great place for every meal, with a wide range of styles, I usually get a couple bean burritos, they're super cheap and quick, absolutely love the place

Vegetarian options: You can sub things out and into burritos/tacos to fit your needs

Parking: It's in the middle of a decent sized shopping center so trust me whatever time you go there, there will be parking, as for drive thru it does get a bit busy during the lunch rush but it goes really quick“

Diving into the menu, I started with the tacos de birria – slow-braised beef that’s fall-apart tender, stuffed into soft corn tortillas, and served with a side of consommé that’s rich, spicy, and utterly addictive for dipping. Followed up with tlayudas, the Oaxacan street food staple: a giant crispy tortilla topped with stringy quesillo cheese, shredded chicken, and vibrant pasilla salsa. Every bite is a crunch-savor explosion!
The aguas frescas (horchata and jamaica) were refreshing and perfectly balanced – not too sweet, just right. And those house-made salsas? From mild avocado crema to fiery habanero, the salsa bar is a choose-your-own-adventure in heat.
Service is warm and efficient, the vibe is casual with colorful decor nodding to Mixteco roots, and prices won’t break the bank (tacos around $3-4 each). As a Wheaton local, this has skyrocketed to my weekly rotation.

“DMV Taqueria food truck is highly recommended! It’s smart to call in your order as they’ve grown in popularity as the word’s gotten out. My neighbor loves their chicken quesadillas. My favorite is the shrimp quesadillas, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the menu items. I understand the churros are a favorite too, though I’ve not personally tried them. “When I forget to bring lunch to work, District Taco is usually the first place that pops into mind. I always get their bowl with black beans with the cabbage topping. What really makes their bowl special is that I can add potatoes! It is a little addition that makes the meal really hardy and keeps me full until dinner. When you go inside it is very under decorated, but clean and they have a good sense of branding with their black and yellow color scheme. “This is a little cozy spot. Seems like there are local regulars here and it's family run. So I knew the food wouldn't disappoint and it sure didn't. The food here tastes very homemade and clean without compromising on taste.

Soft Chicken Tacos (8/10) - From the very first bite I knew it was fresh and everything tasted spot on. The rice and beans were decent too.

Chimichanga (9.5/10) - This was probably the best thing I've had here. It's perfectly delicious, wasn't overly greasy and heavy. It was perfect. This one might be the go to for most people.

Patron Platter (9/10) - This dish was also spot on, but the pork tamale 🫔 was just what it needed to be a complete dish. A great option if you're feeling a variety of food.

Tres Leches (8/10) - While this wasn't the best I've had, it by no means disappointed. The cake was good but more importantly it was sweetened perfectly. I've been to too many spots that over do it, so it was nice to find a spot that gets it right for a change. I recommend this one for dessert.“

The tuna and shrimp was also soo good. Tuna taste fresh and they have so many different hot sauces to compliment the dishes. “Habanero’s is between the College Park Metro stop and campus. We saw it, evoked memories of one in Arizona with same name. We ordered Chicken Tinga Tacos, Chicken Taco, Beef Taco along with a Beef Tounge Taco along with Guacamole & Chips. Food was good, flavors top notch, service efficient and pleasant. Only observation was the portion of Guacamole was ‘light’ for $8.00. If back in College Park would return.“

“Been here a couple times. Waitstaff always super friendly and attentive. Large selection of food items that include the standard of what you'd expect from a Tex/Mex place. Menu also has some Salvadoran specialties that I've enjoyed each time.There isn't a lot of cost put into the atmosphere and fixtures of the restaurant, but if you are looking for some good food and service, this place is very consistent and remains one of my gotos.“
