“We had a wonderful dinner at Minty's last night, our first time there. When we made the reservation, Theresa, the owner could not have been friendlier! When we walked in all the staff made us feel welcome and happy to be there. We asked to meet Theresa and she came out personally and was so friendly. We were seated and the server came and lit candles at our table. The atmosphere is very homey and also romantic with fairy lights on the wall. Servers were great at guiding us to find our menu items as we had so many different things we would have liked to try. We both elected different versions of fried chicken, one smothered with mushroom gravy. Both were delicious, very well seasoned and crispy. Skillet brownie with ice cream was such a nice presentation too. We chatted with the owner again and felt like old friends by the time we left. We can't wait to return. We really enjoyed also the dish names all honoring Harriet Tubman whose nickname was Minty.“
