“I checked out Bonchon in Navy Yard recently and overall had a really solid experience. I got their chicken and I would definitely recommend getting the spicy. It was perfectly crispy - that signature double-fried crunch that stays crunchy even with the sauce on it - and the spicy had a great kick without being overwhelming. Juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, exactly what you want from Bonchon. Great flavor and a good portion size too. Service was really good. All the servers seemed genuinely friendly and happy with the job they were doing, which makes a big difference. They were attentive, checked in at the right times, and you could tell they actually liked being there. The restaurant was clean and the food came out pretty fast. The only heads up I would give - parking is very hard to find in that area. If you are driving there, definitely plan for an extra 5-10 minutes just to find parking. It's Navy Yard, so it is always busy. Might be easier to metro or rideshare if you can. Other than that, great spot. Good food, great service, would recommend and will be back.“

“I stopped by here for a quick bite for lunch and got the Banh Mi Combo. The bread had a nice crisp after every bite. The sandwich sauce heavily leaned on the creaminess of the mayo and didn't have any spice to it surprisingly. The chicken and pork were tender and enjoyable to devour but the beef was a bit too tough to bite through while being on a sandwich. The onions added a different type of crunch to the sandwich. The lemongrass and vegetables added a fresh taste to the ensemble.“

“Fantastic business lunch at NiHao! Had a group of four and we were thoroughly impressed by both the food and the efficiency. Every dish we ordered - from the salt and pepper shrimp to the beef chow fun - was fresh, full of flavor, and enough for leftovers. It is great to find a lunch spot that is quick, and reasonably priced.

Our waiter, Scott made the experience seamless. He was on top of everything, guiding us through the menu, keeping our water filled, and clearing dishes quickly so we could focus on our meeting - we were worried that we ordered too much but Scott told us that his mom says “If you go to a Chinese restaurant and don’t have leftovers, you didn’t order enough”. Solid takeout sushi. I was desperately craving sushi on evening and, after perusing Uber Eats for a bit, settled on Toku after receiving a recommendation from a friend. I got their sushi combo, which came with ten assorted pieces of nigiri and a California roll, as well as my choice of miso soup or salad. The sushi was super fresh, and I appreciated the variety of fish chosen for the nigiri; I didn't care much for the California roll and would have loved the option to switch it out with a different roll, but it's perfectly reasonable for them to not allow those types of swaps. It was a solid meal and absolutely satisfied by sushi craving.“

“This place is kind of difficult to find as it is in the 3rd level on Union Station. I dined here at 4:30pm on a Tuesday and the place was empty. I had the curry laksa noodle which I had never tried before. I'm not sure if this is how they serve it normally but it had two different kinds of noodles. The soup was a bit salty to my taste but it was filling and overall quite good. I would definitely go again if I have to wait before a train.“

“I’ll be honest, I came here a year ago when it was called Bonkers Chinese Burger and didn’t like it at all. Today, I went back curious that it’s under a new name Cinnara with a focus on broth and noodles.

I got the Braised Beef Noodle as others recommended. And wow!!!! It was some of the best beef noodle soup I’ve tasted. So so delicious.

This spot is worth it for the beef noodles alone. This will be one of my new lunch spots in Chinatown.“

The vegetables were tastful and not soggy which I could greatly appreciate it because who wants soggy mushrooms. Oh and they have kool-aid. “Their food is great taste like a real Chinese carry out. I taste plenty other. Their chicken is big and stayed the same taste never change especially the mambo sauce. The SriPraPhai drunken noodles with tofu was so-so. Its taste profile was more like Pad Thai than drunken noodles I have had from prior restaurants, so would not get this again. The taste wasn't bad, but not what I expected. Overall, I would still return and try this food concept chain again (similar to a food court in a mall with many restaurant options but with a small pick up window and assembly room in the back).“
