“We had the fried green tomatoes as our first appetizer. They were tender and topped with lumps of crabmeat. Spectacular! Then we had the fried cheese appetizer. I can’t remember the name of the cheese, but it was delicious in the accompanying sauce and olive oil and pesto. All of the dishes we had came out perfect. My filet medallions were so tender,they melted in my mouth. Hubby got the pork loin over mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts and loved it. We will definitely come back!“

“We, had lunch at this location on Nov 10th. The service was very poor and the order came out wrong. The waiter never offered to refill our drinks. We, ended up sending food back and had taken off the bill. I, asked for a manager and the waiter only came back. This was a VERY poor experience. The waiter sucked, They may need new management.“

“The Ruxton is a beautiful restaurant. Overall, the food was excellent. The steak was tender and full of flavor. It just needed to return to the kitchen for a little more flame, thus the 4star rating. Had it been prepared medium-rare-plus with a char, the rating would have been 5star.“

“I took my dad tonight for Father’s Day and it was very busy. We were told an hour and half wait so we waited. From the crew at the reservation desk to the lady who took is us to our table and Evan our waiter everything was awesome. Even with being crazy busy service was great and food was great. I highly recommended Texas Roadhouse Columbia“

This time the glitch was with the bartender, he didn’t understand when the waiter put in the manhattan cocktail need to be made with a specific bourbon. And came down with 2 drinks & seemed a little irritated. Not a cohesive work relationship revealed right there. Looked certain employees might need some reminders or retraining .\n\nOverall. Otherwise, we would have missed out on experiencing the service that Shaun provided. Even though he serviced several other tables, he still extended the same amount of attention and care to each of us. His level of customer services was more than just “excellent.” It was “superb.” He made us feel like we were valued and he didn’t miss an opportunity to check to see if we had everything we needed and we were enjoying our meal. If I were hiring, Shaun would be my first selection and he would be used as that model employee to train others on what is expected of them as a representative of the company and what we want our customers to experience. “I had the pleasure of being served by Kamora, and she was absolutely amazing. From the moment she greeted us, she was warm, personable, and genuinely attentive. She checked in at all the right times, made sure we had everything we needed, and her friendly energy made the entire experience even better. I highly recommend the wine flight! It's all you need for the night. The food was great! The only down side was that they weren't serving the Wagyu menu items as stated on their first website.“
