“Fisherman's was the venue for a surprise 40th birthday celebration for my husband this year on October 4th, and I am thrilled with my choice! I contacted 7 venues and from the start it was clear that Scott and his team were the choice to make. My point of contact, Scott, could answer any and all questions immediately while also providing wonderful suggestions-it was obvious that the Fisherman's staff handles events on a regular basis and everything ran like a well-oiled machine. Scott and the staff at Fisherman's made planning and executing this event as easy as possible for me which relieved alot of stress. I was allowed sufficient time and free reign to decorate the space to make it feel personal, which was definitely a nice touch. Everyone I came in contact with was very professional and friendly. The servers who worked the actual party were amazing-very efficient and experienced with a larger crowd. The food was delicious and portions were generous. Thank you for helping me create a memorable night that I could actually be truly present in the moment because I knew Fisherman's had the details covered. “Stopped by for lunch with our two dogs. Seated very quickly. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. I ordered the Rockfish wrap, my husband ordered a tuna wrap, and we ordered chicken for my dogs off the doggie menu. I didn't enjoy my wrap as much as a thought I would, but I am not a big seafood person to begin with. My husband and dogs loved their meals so that is a win for me!“

“We have been coming to Kentmorr for 30plus years and had heard that the restaurant had recently changed owners and management. If there have been changes, they were not dramatic. We got to meet the new owners who are Clark and Jackie Mowrey: Delightful people. Our server Ebby was superb and the food was excellent. We took the food to go and ate it on the boat anchored just off the restaurant's beach to watch the spectacular sunset.“

“The food was really delicious! We ordered the cream of crab soup which was great. The Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer and they were the STAR OF THE SHOW! Best I have ever tasted. We ordered the crab cake and the scallops for our entrees and they were both solid. The only regret is that the potatoes were as hot as I would have liked them to be, but all and all it was a delicious meal. Did not have room for dessert. Next time...and there will definitely be a next time!“

“Wonderful lunch on a beautiful Monday afternoon at this fine restaurant. The staff was light but the host managed everything from seating serving and making sure all patrons were accounted for. A real gem that reflects well on the management. Sorry I forgot her name but well done!!! Food was excellent with perfect servings and on point for price. Will return.“

“I might have found my new favorite restaurant to visit when I cross the bay bridge! Saw Libbey's when passing by on 50 heading toward Queenstown Outlets. It's right in the water. I sat at a nice table by the window with a view of the Chesapeake Bay and bridge. Brian was my waiter. He was attentive and pleasant. The food was amazing. The cream of crab soup was probably the best I've had. The seafood trio was cooked just right. The spiced margarita was 3 out of 5 stars. I didn't really taste the jalapeño but it was good drink. Nonetheless, no complaints. I'll be back soon!!“

“Nice place, but confusing rules take away from the experience.[The bad] This place has at least three sections with different rules. Entrance host made me go back to the car to drop my towel so I would not get “kicked out by staff” for having a visible towel. The beach section had a $60 minimum charge that was only clear when we tried to find a sitting spot. Water access is restricted to the ankles height, and water front sits meant having to deal with the constant patrol of confused guests (one family was initially asked to leave bc they ate inside and had not paid for the food within the beach section). The menu was limited at the beach (no dessert, soup, or crabs allowed)[good] The food was good, the drinks were made with fresh fruit juice, some of the staff were really friendly, and the families that cracked the code created a beautiful environment. We had a crab cake sandwich, fish and chips, and hush puppies.“
