The food is always amazing and it's a beautiful, comfortable restaurant and bar with outdoor seating in Historic Stevensville. On our last visit we both had the arugula salad (fresh, simple, delicious) and the special fish entree of the evening--swordfish piccata with sauted broccolini and risotto. “Papusa's are hard to find and I just moved to the area and had to try these out because I love them. I stopped in on a weekday at noon for lunch and the smell in the shop was awesome. Business was booming and once I got my order and ate them, I know why. I ordered 4 papusas at $2.50per and that is a great price! I got one chicken and cheese, 1 jalapeño and cheese and one bean and cheese. The bean and cheese are always my favorite but here the chicken was very close. They were made fresh which isnt always the case. The flavor texture and overall seasoning were out of this world and this is going to become a regular place for me. Authentic food, good service, note I didn't say fast! Good food takes time. I would order ahead next time knowing how popular the place is. “I have occasion to pass a Cracker Barrel occasionally on the east-bound lane of Rt. 50 after crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. The service is usually fast and the food is usually hot. Since ordering a Bacon N' Egg Hashbrown Casserole one day about a year ago, I have never ordered anything else and I can usually discipline myself to eat half there and save half to take home.
