I was conflicted over whether or not I should give four or five stars, but I could not overlook that on out most recent visit the server did not return to collect the check. After waiting for about 30 minutes, one of us went and delivered the check to our server. We requested a traditionally decorated two-tier wedding cake, and they completely knocked it out of the park — it was beautiful and tasted incredible! The mini cupcakes were a huge hit with our guests. The lemon blueberry flavor is a fan favorite! “This place is a little hidden gem. Didn't even know they were there. Bright and clean inside with a very friendly staff. We had the Chicken Salad Sandwich, the Club Sandwich and their signature "Newk's Q" Sandwich as well as Lobster & Crab Bisque and Cream of Crab soup. All were amazing. So were the side dishes. We chose Mac-n-Cheese, Potato Salad and Fresh Fruit. Yum! Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.“

The young gentleman who always takes our order is part owner and so sweet. Today I ordered a green chicken wrap and it was delish! The young man even brought my order out to me before I could make it back inside. Recommend trying it out based on taste, quality, timeliness, and friendliness.“

The assortment of pastries and bread will leave your mouth watering. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful, willing to answer any questions. “We had a fantastic experience with Palate Pleasers! The menu was creative, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Standouts included the brie with orange marmalade, flavorful vegan options, and the interactive risotto bar with excellent toppings.

The chicken with tart cherry–shallot sauce and the fresh spinach salad were also big hits. We especially appreciated the attention to detail with toppings and dressings served on the side.

Dessert (strawberry rhubarb crisps) was the perfect finish. Everything was beautifully executed—highly recommend!“

We ate Christmas lunch/dinner at SHIKA sushi &ramen and it was awesome! They really saved the day for us. We are usually 4-6 rolls feasters so thought we’d just start with 3 and go from there. 3 was plenty! The rolls were massive and delicious. The service was great. “This place gets super busy but totally worth the wait. The line moves relatively quickly, and the wait for food can be upwards of 30 mins during the rush. The parking lot is small, pull around the back for more parking. Service is prompt and friendly and they have seasonal specialty lattes on a board to the left of the registers, definitely don't miss them! I ordered a honey lavender latte that was perfectly balanced and so tasty. I also ordered a breakfast biscuit sandwich. The biscuit was buttery and delicious and there was a bit too much cheese for me, but that might be your kind of thing. There's both outdoor and indoor seating and turnover is quick! You can order online ahead of time and head to the back of the store for pick up if you're in a rush.“
