“Small place, huge flavor. I can’t get enough. Everything that I’ve ever eaten from there is amazing. The steak and egg breakfast bowl is amazing with super savory potatoes, the bacon is thick and crispy, el tamal de elote is to die for. I can’t forget to mention their burrito bowls and special grilled chicken wings at lunch time with a sweet tres leeches cake slice for desert. Bomb food!!“

“We love Guapo’s and come here often. Wait times are long but sometimes you get lucky. The drinks and food are delicious. However I had my first bad experience with a waiter this weekend. I paid the bill with my card and was going to leave a cash tip, the lady saw me select “no tip” and told me “tip is not included” …. I know how tipping works and it should never be excepted but appreciated. It left a sour taste. Especially given we always TIP well. Made me not want to leave anything at all. Very unprofessional!“

“This location has been here forever and is a neighborhood favorite! Very cozy place with inside and outside and a mix covered seating area outside. They have more seating at the lower level, but the ambiance isn't as nice. Paid parking at the public garage at the end of the street. My friends like to meet up here to celebrate birthdays especially and they'll bring out their big sombrero and sing to you. Service is excellent! Tex-mex food with large portions, I usually get fajitas and they come sizzling on a hot plate. The food is good, nothing special, but we usually come for the free chips and salsa! The tortilla chips are very thinly made and come out warm. Their tortillas are freshly warmed up on the machine upfront, not sure if they actually made them. Food is probably a 3.5, ambiance a 3, but service a 5!“

“Amazing food, great service! Loved it. I wish I lived closer. The beer came with the frostiest mug I've ever had. Lomo saltado was excellent. I've never had a plantain empanada before but I will now be looking for them at every latin American restaurant I go to. Didn't love UFC on every TV in the place. At the bar no problem, but it didn't fit the rest of the restaurant. Small gripe among an otherwise excellent meal. Definitely recommend Don Jorge's!Parking: Parking lot was a little tight as the restaurant filled up but we found a space upon arrival.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. Large kids menu and they all come with juice and ice cream.Wheelchair accessibility: Someone came in sitting in a wheelchair while we were eating and it looked like they could easily navigate to their table.“

“We started stopping by Baja Fresh now and then for a quick lunch, and it has quickly become a new favorite lunch spot. The food is fresh, very reasonably priced, large portions and welcoming and polite staff.P.S. the house nachos with salsa they offer everyone as an appetizer is appreciated!“

“The first time I came here was to celebrate my birthday with a few co-worker girlfriends. The girls told them it was my birthday and they came out sang to me ,(I can't recall if this is where I got to wear a sombrero while they sang). We had a good time.... Since then I have visited a few more times as it is in walking distance for me. It's a great place if you want to sip on a margarita on the patio which has a sort of tiki bar vibe at night with the lights...or come watch a match while eating the tasty Mexican & El Salvadoran cuisines. I've tired and enjoyed the ceviche, fajitas, pupusas and margaritas several times. I did not care for the nachos but it was a to-go order and sometimes that can really make a difference when you get nachos. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. I recommend stopping by!“

“Took my niece to lunch at the Spectrum Ave location and were immediately greeted by the sweetest man working by the entrance. He couldn’t have been more welcoming and my niece talked about him for the rest of the day when someone asked how lunch went. The man who took our order was also super friendly. It was a nice change of pace to be in such a warm atmosphere. Great job!“

“This is a cute non-descript store and a pupuseria.The pupusas revueltas were pretty tasty.They also sell a few varieties of beer.***Edit: 2022Still a tasty spot. They've improved a lot of the inside. Still a small space but the people are nice.“

“Got myself the Korean BBQ burrito, and it was goooood! Spicy too; this is the first restaurant where if they say something is spicy I have a reason to believe them.Y'all. They have a WALL of hot sauce you can walk up to and pick from. Everything's labeled on a spicy scale, you pick whichever ones you want to try, and you go for it. I had no idea sampling hot sauces with friends could be so much fun lol. I recommend the Honey Habanero, and there's a mango habanero one with a really good smoky flavor. I forget the name.“
