“Chef John puts his heart into his meals and gives his client a wonderful experience. Recently I experienced his seafood okra aka ila a la se po... it was amazing! The whole family loved it even my young kids 10 & 8.
My kids had his turkey 2 years ago and requested for it again this year, that's how memorable his meals are. So as requested we tried his raga turkey, spinach aka efo riro and Jollof rice for Thanksgiving 2024 and he did not disappoint!! Everything was tasty, people kept asking where the food was catered from.
Kudos chef, we enjoy your meals. And we will keep coming back.

“I would add a picture but the food didn’t make it to the scene I got the jollof rice with the hard chicken and I inhaled every piece of rice and if I could’ve eaten the bone off this chicken I would’ve I only order it from Zions kitchen it has never disappointed I be back soon #forevercustomer“

“This is the newest and greatest spot to grace Laurel Md. The atmosphere is amazing!!! The decor is absolutely beautiful.. The waiters, waitresses and bartenders just true amazing…THE FOOD!!!!!!! On a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 the highest…… I give them a 10…. I love African food and everything was on time. Flavor and taste impeccable 😉 Going again this week….Vibes are truly amazing!!!!“

“I had a great experience at Laud Shawarma! I tried the beef shawarma, oven baked wings, vegan cinnamon bread, and the Fura smoothie.
The wings came out hot and cooked perfectly, the sauce was delicious. I have never had shawarma like this before, the beef was tender, the sauce inside had a great kick to it, and the cabbage inside gave it the perfect crunch - it was fantastic.
The fura smoothie was refreshing and light. Lastly, the bread here is out of this world. It was warmed up on the grill and it had the most soft, fluffy, and chewy texture all in one. I gotta come back to try the Ube bread! Thank you for introducing me to Nigerian shawarma, I am a huge fan!“
