“Service is a bit slow, but the food is mostly good. I got a shrimp tempura salad with spicy mayo and added avocado. The bowl was stuffed, which is great but also made it a bit difficult to eat, especially with the shrimp tempura on top. I wish the shrimp tempura was pre-cut into smaller bitable pieces. I ended up taking my bowl home and dumping it into a bigger dish, so that I could easily eat it. My aunt ordered vegetable bibimbap, which was okay. The rice was very plain.“

Don't even get me started on the honey garlic crunch edamame – it's sweet, savory, garlicky, and crunchy. I couldn’t stop eating it, even sucking on the edamame skin (trust me, you’ll understand once you try it). Their nigiri is phenomenal, with fresh uni, salmon, and toro that were just melt-in-your-mouth good.
The chef-curated selection of fish was beyond impressive, and the firecracker rolls were the perfect balance of heat – absolutely perfect with the light Mio sparkling sake.

The beverages were all great (coffee martini, cucumber spritz, Turkish mule.) we had a couple of appetizers (spinach pie and Turkish pizza with ground lamb), again both delicious. The lamb and chicken were both tender and cooked to perfection whether it was on a kebab or in the mixed grill. Everything was fantastic, from the (post-lunchtime) moment we walked in until we walked outside, replete and happy.

We ordered a selection of rolls and a large plate of sashimi, expecting small- to average-sized portions at reasonable prices. What we got were nearly futomaki-sized rolls at these same prices. The flavor combinations, both sweet and savory, both spicy and sublime, were even more impressive than the value.

Everyone we saw or spoke with was polite and smiling, and made us feel immediately welcome.
