I enjoyed the sushi, but what hit home for me was the shrimp fried rice. It tasted just like home (California). The best tasting rice I have had since moving to the East Coast“

“Service is a bit slow, but the food is mostly good. I got a shrimp tempura salad with spicy mayo and added avocado. The bowl was stuffed, which is great but also made it a bit difficult to eat, especially with the shrimp tempura on top. I wish the shrimp tempura was pre-cut into smaller bitable pieces. I ended up taking my bowl home and dumping it into a bigger dish, so that I could easily eat it. My aunt ordered vegetable bibimbap, which was okay. The rice was very plain.“

“Went here for my daughter’s birthday dinner because she loves korean food and it is just like what we have with my family get togethers. I had never been here before and didn’t know what to expect. The portions are huge and we shared everything with four people (two kids and two hungry pre-teens). We got the Kimchi Pa Jun, dukboki (no cheese or fish cakes), Chicken Ban Ban in Korean sauce, bulgogi (comes with a bowl of rice), mandu, and the spicy sushi combination (3 rolls). I couldn’t believe how large the portions were! Everything was so flavorful and definitely reminded me of eating with my extended family when we had large get togethers. In addition to our order, we also got banchans (sides) of kimchi, potato, green beans, bean sprouts, and tofu. The server (maybe owner?) was so sweet and nice and reminded me of my aunts. The location is not right on 40 like the other restaurants in this area, but it’s not far off. The location wasn’t super busy with people (Wednesday night), but they seem to do well with takeout orders. Will definitely be back for some traditional korean food!“

“We have been to Asian Palace several times and we've always enjoyed our visits.

Since the pandemic, business seems to be off and on a Saturday evening at about 7:00 p.m., Asian Palace deserve to be a good deal more busy than it actually was. No problem getting a table right away at all.

The Chinese entrees we ordered were plentiful tasty and reasonably priced. Service was super-prompt and solid. We did not get sushi on this visit and our overall bill was really quite reasonable particularly given the location.

Somehow I believe that if Asian Palace were to relocate to some place with better foot traffic or a better Street front, they would be appreciably busier.

“I had steamed monkfish.. There are no real good restaurants in ELLICOTT CITY, where I live now. There is no restaurant that is particularly good at steamed monkfish. However, I ate delicious monkfish for the first time in a while at Hyeban. I love braised monkfish, and for the first time in a long time, I ate it very deliciously. The portion is huge.. If two people come, you can really eat the monkfish to the fullest.. Above all, the service is really the best.. The servers are great. Very friendly.. The female server named EUNJEA was really friendly.. I went there for the first time and asked a lot of questions about the menu, but she responded very kindly and kindly.. I also like the spacious space.. The tables were close together. I like it because it doesn't exist.. The last thing I want to say is that the food at this place is not crazy delicious.
