The food was excellent, the beer options adequate and the service was great. The outside seating area was well shaded and they had several very large fans that kept the air moving and despite the temperature we were comfortable outside. We’re glad we came and we’ll be back.“

“Olde Town Pub We have always loved The Pub, so since we were getting married down the street, we decided we wanted to have our rehearsal dinner here. The staff gave us the entire outside area on the left. We were catered to, taken care of, and fed with amazing food. The wings are always delicious, the drinks are consistently rotating to try new beers, and the staff is always kind and helpful. You can’t go wrong going here for any reason!“

“I hate that they close during winter. I found this place online on a fluke and me, my husband and friends go all summer long. I've read prior opinions and every restaurant has a hiccup or bad day from time to time with help or ability to replenish product. It's beautiful there on the water, watching birds dive for fish or sailboats in and out of the cove. The breeze blows as you eat and toast your friends with a great cocktail. I give a ten-plus for this treasure to visit. If you haven't been there, you're doing yourself an injustice. Fitzies, Leonardtown, high five!“

“The Ironwood is the restaurant/pub attached to the Breton Bay Country Club golf course. I'd call it a pub in the sense that it's more of the family and friend meeting place than a country club restaurant. We've been down there for years as they host the community Christmas tree lighting where Santa visits to throw the switch and visit with all of the neighborhood kids. Food is standard pub fare with some more deli style sandwiches and service is perfect. If the Ironwood comes back as an option when you search restaurants, don't ignore it. You'll love, especially in the warmer months, the chance to eat outside with a view of the golfers wasting all of their good swings on the driving range.“

“This place is a gem! Nestled right on the water, it offers delicious food and exceptional service. Despite never knowing it existed in the area, we decided to give it a try, and we were thoroughly impressed. Everyone at the restaurant with me raved about the food, and even though there was only one server when we arrived, the service was fantastic. Some items were unavailable which was a not ideal but nonetheless what we order was delicious.
Everyone there including the patrons were really friendly overall we enjoyed our experience and definitely would recommend this place.“
