“I travel through DCA frequently and always stop here. Martha has been amazing. She is so friendly and always remembers me (and my drink order ?). It's really nice to see a familiar face on the road who is always smiling and happy to see you. Everyone traveling through DCA should stop by to see her.“

“This is great for a quick lunch or dinner. There is good variety and great flavors. We were a party of 5 and all ordered different variations. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. This is elevated grilled cheese for adults but lets the kids order something simple. Win win.“

“Yesterday, I decided to treat myself to a solo lunch date at Moreland's Tavern. With the sun shining, I wanted to soak up the weather in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the usual hustle and bustle, and Moreland's Tavern delivered just that! Having been here numerous times before, I've always left satisfied. This time was no different. For lunch, I opted for the blackened catfish sandwich with a side salad, accompanied by a selection of drinks: a spicy pineapple margarita, a strawberry shrub, and a rose. (Its just one of those days, that a girl goes through when I'm an....nevermind iykyk lol) The catfish sandwich was delicious, though just a tad soggy due to the sauce. However, the side salad was fantastic - a perfect start with its darker leafy mixed greens, packed with nutrition. Now, onto the drinks. While the spicy margarita wasn't the best I've ever had, it still hit the spot, albeit not as spicy as I'd hoped. The Strawberry Shrub was a fruity delight, not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Service was impeccable, with a friendly and attentive waitress ensuring my meal arrived promptly. The atmosphere was relaxed, with families mingling around, creating a laid-back vibe. I'll definitely be returning for another visit. Moreland's Tavern strikes the perfect balance between family-friendly and relaxed ambiance.“

“This is a great spot with a warm vibe. It looks small in entering, but there's additional seating in the back. The service is excellent too. The food came out in less than 20 minutes, and the portions are a good size. Just enough to fill you, but not so much you have leftovers. I had the salmon burger and fries, both were cooked perfectly - the fries were crisp and the salmon was juicy. Both were too lightly seasoned for me but still enjoyable. I appreciated that neither were salty. I'll be back to try other options.Parking: Street parking may require you to walk a few blocks.“

“This is an awesome spot to grab a bite and have some cold beer. They always have the sports you want to watch. The staff is quick and friendly. “We came from out of state (NC) and just happened to Google bars around and this popped up. Hands down the best time we had. Luke, the bartender, was funny and amazing. We ended up going back the next day just to see him before we left town. Definitely will be back!“

“Love this restaurant in Silver Spring. 'Consistently great food and good service. Whenever I'm in town, I make time to eat dinner there. You need a reservation for Saturday and Friday evenings. Parking is easy since it is near one of the Wayne Garage entrances. My family likes everything on the menu, but I especially like the tenderloin steak with spinach. I rarely get beef, but it is consistently a moist and tender cut. Cocktails are great, and the food is gourmet quality.Parking: Park in Wayne Street parking garage. There is an exit to Ellsworth, which takes you to an exit that is very near the restaurant.“

“I love Remington's. The service is always great. The food is amazing... especially their pizza! I got the steak-n-cheese pizza this time. The sweet potato fries and the dipping sauce were on point. I took a picture of the fries and crushed the pizza (so there was no picture). Everyone is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is inviting.Parking: There are spaces all around the building. Sometimes, it can get a little tight, so you may have to park on the street.“

“Super cool spot!!!!!!!! I’ve been coming here since Wilfredo first opened his doors. I’ve come to think of it as a home away from home. The food is exactly what the doctor ordered after a long days work. Karaoke Tuesdays has completely brought me out of my shell. It’s definitely become a hidden gem for the Brightwood community. “It's Kenyan style food so the curry among other dishes will not be what you are used to. However, I did enjoy the added spices that the African style brings. I recommend everyone giving this restaurant a try. They have pool tables too. Tell Lindsey I sent you. Bon Appetit“

“There is nothing about this place that doesn’t merit five stars. The service from the bar - Chris, Olga, Jake, and everyone else- are friendly and welcoming. The drink selection is solid and full of favorites. And the food - good lord, the food is outstanding. The best cheese curds, top notch legit red beans and rice - there’s not an off note on the whole menu. Top it off with the fact that I believe that all of their sauces and dressings are house made - like I said, five stars all around!“

“I'm passed the club days; however, I stopped in on a quite Tuesday night and it was empty but the late night HH sign lured me in. It was a handful of people but the guy behind the bar was cool AF and def made for a good night. His service wasn't like the club vibe since he came on the deck to ask if I wanted anything. All I know is he's from Nebraska and super friendly guy. I'd be back to visit just to pop in for a couple drinks.“

“It is a nice little spot to go and listen to music, play some pool and sing karaoke. The DJ plays good music and the bartenders are friendly. There is security there, so don’t go there acting up. The vibe is upbeat and friendly. The wings taste good and so does the fries. Order a blue motorcycle and tell them Dnyce sent you ?“

“This was a nice spot that me and my boyfriend found just walking down the street looking for somewhere to go.We did hookah which was good and we spilt the shrimp tacos and jerk shrimp and crab pasta which was REALLY good. we wanted to try the salmon egg rolls but unfortunately they were out.It wasn't crowded and had a nice little vibe to it esp since we're a little older than the crowd that was there.Would def go again and would DEFINITELY get the pasta again tho I would also like to try other dishes as well.If you're looking for a nice, little spot, pls give them a try.“

“A literal hidden gem - Tucked away beside the Pisco and Nazca restaurant and downstairs beneath the neighboring hotel (easy to miss). Reasonably priced drinks for the area, karaoke, and and an owner who was involved in helping out behind the bar, changing kegs, in the kitchen, and conversational with guest. If you need a break from the pretentiousness of DC this is the spot.“

“Stopped in here to try a rice bowl (with peri peri chicken) for lunch and will definitely be back. It was very good. Appreciated that they freshly cooked my chicken. Only downside is that I wish this area were more pleasant to walk/bike to. (Also, I appreciate that they gave me silverware, but I try to minimize my plastic trash so would prefer that they ask me, but I get that other customers may feel differently.)“
