Fresh pizza and deli counter food, refrigerated and/or frozen store-made pasta dishes, meats and deserts, plus lots of imported Italian canned stuff. Looks like a set from a Brian DePalma or Francis Ford Coppola film. This place would look completely at home on the corner of Mulberry and Hester Streets in lower Manhattan. “This is a solid breakfast and lunch spot very close to downtown Silver Spring. This is a local mom-and-pop shop that is run by the cutest older couple. I have had breakfast sandwiches, omelets, their breakfast burrito, and I haven't been disappointed with the food yet. While they do have chairs inside, it is really a take-out spot.

This a solid place for your essential breakfast and lunch. I try to always support local and small businesses.“

“We found this place after going on the US Capitol tour, it was about a 10-minute walk and it was awesome! The Blue Pastrami was phenomenal, and my father enjoyed the Gourmet Italian. “Generous Joe's is a staple of the Greenbelt Community and not only is it a great place to eat with good food but was also a great place to work at, Joe was a great owner and Aaron a great Manager. I am happy to see the place grow and to see the new ideas that are coming into play under the ownership of Aaron while still maintaining and respecting the tradition of Joe's as well. So definitely recommend if your in Greenbelt to stop by definitely recommend the Steak and Cheese w/ Green peppers :P“

“This is my favorite neighborhood spot to get a quick bite, sundries for the house, or just friendly conversation. My favorite menu items are the turkey bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches; steak and cheese sandwich; and jerk mumbo chicken wings during happy hour. You can dine-in, or take out. I'd suggest calling ahead to reduce wait time if you're limited. Occasional special events like brunch or big sports events bring the community out and pack the place.“

They have a balsamic vinagret dressing that is so good. I recommend this place. They serve all sorts of food, there's something for every taste. If you're in Greenbelt @ 7501 Greenway Center Drive the smell of their food cooking will pull you in...around the corner to Uptown Deli.“

“This particular store has been in the neighborhood for a long time so this store will need to upgrade the heating system the cooling system maybe it just like I said it needs to be gutted out and remodeled and maybe bigger and better parking lot for them as well because I see cars getting scraped up and everything like that when I'm and I'm coming out the parking lot“
