“We ordered a Crab Cake sandwich and a Fried Flounder sandwich to go. Food was bland and surprisingly expensive. Make sure you ask for any condiments or you'll just get a dry flounder fillet or crab cake on bread. Store was very clean and the staff was polite. The best part was we took our sandwiches and ate them at the gazebo on the dock at the end of main street“
“The food was so fabulous and delicious the guests loved it and so did all our neighbors with the leftovers we had LOL. It was so yummy and we are still trying to savor our cake that Kathy made us for the night to cut. OMG SO GOOD! We saved the top tier to freeze so fingers crossed it works out! The wait staff for our reception were also so pleasant and kind, and we really appreciated how patient they were with taking food away and just how attentive! They were so helpful just the nicest people! We really appreciated everything Watermen’s did for us, and everything they did to make our day the most special and tasty! From cocktail hour, to the reception, and desserts! It all was so great!“
“Check your expectations at the door. There's no fru fru sauces, the staff either doesn't know (or more likely they don't have) the wine list and complicated drinks (like a martini!) require a 4 person consultation. Service is enthusiastic, cheerful, slow and slightly scatterbrained (charming nonetheless). This is all a prelude - the food, simple honest and GOOD. It's just basic decent seafood - mine was the scallop basket with a much larger portion than you'd usually get, simply battered, lightly fried, just right. Others pleased with pulled pork, a cheesesteak (good), fried shrip. The parm oyster app was fine with quality oysters as was the raw selection. Really, just a solid spot/“
“We were pleasantly surprised at what a good lunch we had. Bradford was our server and he was very friendly and attentive. The fried chicken, sides, and crabby fries were all delicious and homemade. We would definitely return and try some other options especially during the summer months when it is nicer. The place is nothing fancy, but then again prices very reasonable and not over inflated. Good sweet tea and he made a fresh pot of coffee for us which we appreciated.“
