“I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The mom and pop feel to a pizza chain was nice as it didn't feel too overcrowded or overdone. The food was amazing a different take on pizza that I was used to as I am not from the area. The service was timely as well as the food. I think the thing that I loved the most was the sauce. It was AMAZING they even have jars of the different kind for you to buy. Highly recommend stopping by if you haven't had ledos before.“

“I am another local customer that can honestly say I prefer Happy House Pizza to Ledo's, which is literally right next door. I don't want to knock Ledo's, because their food is good and people are nice, but Happy House Pizza has more flavor, a little spicier sauce and different but equally good crust. Friendly staff and much faster food prep time, it seems.“

“Harvest Thyme Tavern is one of our most favorite restaurants in the DMV, yet a neighborhood gem. We probably eat here more than most go out to dinner in a month. I admire the family ownership and commitment to running the establishment on a daily basis. The food is sourced from our local farmers and that’s just another reason we love this place. The quality ingredients make all the difference in the food and the cocktails. Burgers, fish, salads, pasta and pizza no one else comes close to. Everything here tastes amazing. Pam has desserts to die for, always a select menu and then she has daily offerings that will have you questioning which one to go for. Have no doubt you will love everything! Hands down the best Spicy Cadillac Margarita and that alone speaks volumes. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff is always accommodating, personal, professional and friendly. “I get Sweet Amy’s pizza all the time, I came up from North Beach to grab some today. The store said online that they are open. It’s Saturday and 4 pm in the afternoon and they are closed. Sign is off & no one is in there. Would’ve been nice to know before I rode 30 minutes down the road for something thinking it was open, hope everything is alright just quit disappointing.“

“I did not expect such delicious, high-quality food and awesome wait staff. But they did not fail to impress on any dish. I only wish I had given them a chance sooner. My dad loved their Thai hot it meet all his spice needed. My two year old ate a almost all of the 4 good portion satay skewers at the restaurant; they were well flavored and cooked well.“

“Nice little best kept secret in Deale. Great prices. Great selection. And the flavor on the hibachi was better than some of your big name chains. The rolls appeared smaller than what i was used to, but for the price it was fair! But boy oh boy they are filling! Don’t let the size fool you. F & F for filling and flavorful. Very friendly staff, order taker and hostess. The kitchen seemed very friendly abut catering to our substitutes . It will be hard to got Harris Teeter without finding a reason to come across the steeet to treat myself to Fujiyama.“

“I’m surprised by the reviews so I decided I’d write my own. My father and I visit North Beach yearly, and this is our second time going to Abners. We stumbled upon it the first year and decided visit again this year. Just like the first year, this most recent visit was great. My dad and I both enjoyed the crab dip with the baguette (it’s so good they should probably include 2 baguettes). Also, the grilled shrimp is delicious, I should have gotten that instead of the fried shrimp (which was good too I just discovered I don’t like breaded shrimp in general, nothing wrong with the meal). The first year we went here we decided to get crabs and they were great, this most recent visit we were both feeling shrimp so that’s what we got. We usually end up spending $100 total here for two people so it is pretty pricey but we know we are paying for good food (which was filling and I had to pack the leftovers to go home because you can’t waste a good crab cake), good service and a nice atmosphere (we always try to sit outside because it’s right next to the marina - like literally next to the water). Our server Jenna was great and Jeremiah was so helpful in getting us extra refills of lemonade. Next time my father and I visit North Beach we are definitely coming back here.
