We seriously love this place.
Plaza Mexico has become one of those go-to spots for us in North Beach. Whether it’s a random weeknight when we don’t feel like cooking or a weekend dinner after walking by the water, it just always hits.
The food is consistently good. The tacos are packed with flavor, the fajitas come out sizzling and smell amazing, and the portions are generous without feeling over the top. It’s comforting, reliable, and exactly what you want when you’re craving Mexican food. And the margaritas? They’re strong in the best way and actually taste fresh.
What really keeps us coming back, though, is the vibe. It feels relaxed and welcoming, not pretentious, not rushed. The staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable, like they’re genuinely happy you’re there.
It’s one of those local spots that just feels easy. Good food, good drinks, good people. We’re really glad it’s in North Beach.“

“This has always been one of my favorite bars. I’ve had Emily as a bartender for years and she’s so genuinely sweet and attentive; will literally drop anything to help you. The owner is incredible as well!! I can not say enough good things about the employees, the owner, and the bar itself. I love bringing new people here!“

“I did not expect such delicious, high-quality food and awesome wait staff. But they did not fail to impress on any dish. I only wish I had given them a chance sooner. My dad loved their Thai hot it meet all his spice needed. My two year old ate a almost all of the 4 good portion satay skewers at the restaurant; they were well flavored and cooked well.“

“I love our local Ledo's🤗 their food is always good and their customer service is exceptional. I recently had ordered a small Pizza that they felt got overcooked so they ended up making another one. I let them know I would have ate the overcooked Pizza but I thought it was so kind of them to make another one.

“So, I admit that I'm picky about my BLT's. Crispy bacon - a must - and portions matter - LOL. Toasted bread - that doesn't destroy the roof of your mouth (you know what I'm talking about). The shmear of mayo that's visible but not oozing. Ripe tomato slices. And, lettuce that's crispy (nobody likes that wilty stuff). So there you have it - check all those boxes and you have the perfect BLT. And that, my friends, is exactly what I was served at South County Cafe! Delish! 😋“

“My husband and I dined here this afternoon. What a new little gem in Dunkirk!! We shared a shrimp tempura appetizer, he had miso soup and an alligator roll and I had the most lovely bowl of vegetable ramen. Everything was so delicious! Also, outstanding service and VERY clean! We will be back SOON!!“

“Five stars, no hesitation. We went on Saturday and every dish was outstanding. We ordered the Tikka Masala, the Biryani, and the Chickpea Curry, and each one was so good it stopped conversation. I actually woke up the next morning craving that Biryani. I’m now creating extra “projects” for my husband just so we have an excuse to swing by Sneades and then hop across the street for another round at Thursday. Please don’t stop making this food. It’s genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in Calvert.“

“SO GOOD!!!! Been eyeing this place for a few weeks and decided to give it a try. Pizza and Alfredo were so good!!! I didn’t realize I ordered a NY style pizza, it’s not my favorite, but this was incredibly good! No frills just a good classic pepperoni pizza without a heart stopping price! Can’t wait to try out more things“

“I love it here. Every time I call they are super sweet and take my order accurately. My food comes out super hot and fresh and I’ve never had an order that’s been unpleasant. 10/10 recommend. Also - their sesame chicken is GREAT!“

“This place is Beautiful 😍 inside and outside, it sit on the water with a beautiful view, Nice Breeze and plenty of sunlight!!! All the employees are very kind and professional service with a smile. My waitress Was THE BOMB ASK FOR MADISON💯‼😎Food was a 10…….Cocktail Drinks 10!!! Crabs 🦀 10 This place Sold ME!!! I will be coming back ASAP!!!!“
