“You guys!! This place is awesome! A local suggested this place and we are so glad we went! Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and great drinks! Best Bloody Mary I've ever had. And don't forget to try an orange or grapefruit crush!! Sammy took care of us & he was great! he was definitely the icing on the cake! 💜💜💜 Definitely recommend this place and can't wait to be back! Located just a few minutes from the awesome Anchored Inn at Hidden Harbor. Beautiful experience all around.“

“I did not expect such delicious, high-quality food and awesome wait staff. But they did not fail to impress on any dish. I only wish I had given them a chance sooner. My dad loved their Thai hot it meet all his spice needed. My two year old ate a almost all of the 4 good portion satay skewers at the restaurant; they were well flavored and cooked well.“

“I love everything about this place! Eat in. Eat outside. Carry out. Staff is super nice every time! The cute girls that work the registers are always so sweet and ready to help! The food is always GREAT!!!
My only minor irritation is when the groups of bodysuit, bullet helmet bicycle people stop in and jam things up. :D
Parking is usually fine for the limited spaces.“

“Solid pizzas and a few good pasta entrees. We get takeout at least once a week. We all love their cheesesteak. Square pizza. They have their own sauces. Salads are good too! And the blue cheese is one of a kind amazing. Huge chunks and just soooooo goood. I see I’m not alone on that one. We order from the app and it is usually accurate. Always been good to us over 10 years.“

“First time trying this place on a whim. Pleasantly surprised by this place! Sally was out server and was quite attentive and considerate to myself dietary restrictions (vegan). The kitchen made a tofu hibachi type meal and it was very tasty. My boyfriend enjoyed his hibachi as well but noted that the sauce was very sweet. We would certainly visit again!“

“Beautiful last day of February to spend some time at Abner's. Food was delicious, my server was pleasant and attentive. Great place to enjoy some seafood!
For those who play the slots, I didn't know they have added a gaming room on the 2nd floor. There are more machines, a bar and restrooms on that level. The cashier is now on the second floor.“

“Great place for good food at a decent price. The inside does have tables, but only 6 and and the very cafe feel. Nothing like a regular restaurant. The food however, very fast, a lot of it and was very good. We had large shrimp and broccoli with white rice, and small sweat sour chicken with white rice. Can and bottle drinks. Total was $30.

We seriously love this place.
Plaza Mexico has become one of those go-to spots for us in North Beach. Whether it’s a random weeknight when we don’t feel like cooking or a weekend dinner after walking by the water, it just always hits.
The food is consistently good. The tacos are packed with flavor, the fajitas come out sizzling and smell amazing, and the portions are generous without feeling over the top. It’s comforting, reliable, and exactly what you want when you’re craving Mexican food. And the margaritas? They’re strong in the best way and actually taste fresh.
What really keeps us coming back, though, is the vibe. It feels relaxed and welcoming, not pretentious, not rushed. The staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable, like they’re genuinely happy you’re there.
It’s one of those local spots that just feels easy. Good food, good drinks, good people. We’re really glad it’s in North Beach.“
