“Came here on a whim because I had a taste for some Caribbean food and lamb chops, and I was not disappointed. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the staff and the premises was nice and clean. I ordered the lamb chops, rice and peas, and greens and cabbage. I also ordered the deviled eggs with shrimp as an appetizer. Though the price was a bit high it was definitely worth it. They brought my appetizer out before the entree which I must say is important to me. The deviled eggs were amazing! I got 5 of them and good sized shrimp with jerk sauce. I could eat a dozen of these!! Next the lamb chops. They were okay, tons of flavors the only thing I can say is I wish they were cooked medium/medium rare but that may be on me for not asking. These were cooked closer to medium well, which wasn't bad but not my preference. But the rice and peas were great as was the greens and cabbage. The portion sizes are good (not too much and not too little) Overall, my meal was satisfying and I would return. The staff made sure I was good (also clean bathroom!) Check this place out!“
“Situated in a buzzing food hall, this place still manages to stand out.The staff are just great; so friendlyandhelpful. They allowed me to sample everything before deciding what to have. But even then, it was so difficult because everything was delicious.“
“If you’re seeking a dining experience that blends impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and a dash of Southern charm, look no further than Ms. Toya’s Creole Seafood in Silver Spring. From the moment we stepped into Ms. Toya's, it was clear that we were in for a treat. Our server, Felicia, went above and beyond to ensure that my husband's 60th birthday celebration was nothing short of extraordinary. The table was adorned with charming birthday decorations, setting the stage for a memorable evening.Felicia's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she patiently guided us through our selections, making recommendations and explaining each dish with enthusiasm. The whole red snapper fish, cooked to perfection, stole the show. Paired with broccoli and asparagus, it was a symphony of flavors that left us craving more. My husband's gumbo was rich and flavorful, while the bayou and surf 'n turf rolls were a delightful addition to our meal. After dinner, Felicia surprised us with warm beignets and vanilla ice cream, accompanied by a heartfelt rendition of "Happy Birthday." Her warmth and charm truly elevated our dining experience. If I may offer one suggestion, it would be to consider providing wet naps or warm towels along with a bib for messier dishes like the gumbo. Despite my husband's best efforts to avoid spills, it was a humorous moment that added to the charm of the evening. In summary, Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood exceeded our expectations in every way. With impeccable service, delicious cuisine, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a dining destination we'll be returning to again and again.Parking: Convenient parking is always a plus, and Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood doesn't disappoint in that department either. We parked in Town Square Garage, the large parking lot across the street, with its multiple levels and clear signage indicating available spaces, ensures a hassle-free experience from the moment you arrive. Using the ParkMobile app to pay for parking adds to the convenience, allowing you to focus on enjoying your dining experience without worrying about parking meters or finding spare change. Plus, the well-lit surroundings and ample signage make navigating the parking lot a breeze, ensuring a stress-free start to your evening at Ms. Toya's.mKid-friendliness: While Ms. Toya's Creole Seafood may not be the ideal spot for children with shorter attention spans, it certainly caters to adults seeking a relaxed dining experience with excellent food and drinks. The atmosphere is more suited for adults looking to unwind and enjoy their meal without distractions. However, they do provide high chairs and have a friendly staff willing to accommodate families with young children. So, if you're in the mood for fantastic food and drinks and can keep your little one entertained, Ms. Toya's is still a great option.“
“If you like Kale, actually even if you don’t like Kale…GO HERE. It’s incredible what they’ve done here. Is it a bit pricey for a bunch of kale with some stuff on it? Maybe. But I don’t know what witchcraft they are doing in here, it’s incredible. I’m almost afraid that maybe it’s somehow unhealthy it’s so good.“
“Sorry couldn't take photos but I tell you we visited here for wife birthday just have to say happy wife happy life everything was so delicious and hot and on point ? ? drinks was awesome and food was hot and delicious wow I'm driving home saying to myself what a great restaurant and concept if you haven't visited here your missing a great opportunity for good food folks!!“
“OMG!! The boil with the World Sauce is out of this world delicious! The crab and crawfish were fresh, the corn and potatoes were delicious and the sausage was incredible and super plentiful! We were honestly pleasantly surprised by how flavorful everything was! We haven't even cleared the table and I'm already writing my review. We just called the manager, Ash, to rave about the food (which we rarely do but it was THAT good) and he was SO kind and appreciative! Just go! You will be so happy you did!!! We will definitely be back, Ash!!“
“My Fiancé and I really enjoyed our evening here. The food was hot and fresh. The prices aren't bad at all. It wasn't crowded and it's in a large space for parties. Our server was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor, despite him being the hostess as well. He was able to juggle a few tasks and still maintain professionalism. We'll be back!“
“Best Snow Crabs in the city if you want that creole flavor I miss from NOLA. I figured out the flavors. Get the shabang medium which for me is perfect because I don’t like too much spice but I love the flavor of the creole spice. I always get the lemon pepper crab fries. Never leave without an order of the shabang bang shrimp medium to go for later!! Love this place!“
“Update!!Yes I went back for dinner, they didn't disappoint either. Worth every penny I spend in there...That cornbread is a MUST HAVE!!10/10!!!!!Pictures doesn't serve this place justice cause of the lighting but one of the best brunch spot I have visited in the DMV.. Highly recommended. Will be back for dinner“
“I visited Kitchen Savages on a rainy Saturday afternoon for lunch. So it was not very crowded but it's inviting. The brunch menu was still being featured, so the choices were limited. I ordered the Chicken Wings and they were pretty good. I wished for a little more bite to the tangy sauce. I also ordered the Jerk Caesar Salad with grilled salmon. The actual salad and salmon were good, but the Jerk was very lacking. The salad was good but it had no character of a Caesar Salad, nor Jerk flavor IMO. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my salad and the Chicken wings. The vibe of this little spot is nice, chill, and friendly. I will come back for dinner. The dinner menu looks interesting. Nice addition to the reviving Historic Anacostia neighborhood.“
“The food was delicious, but unfortunately it was lacking in soul. I know soul food better. There was too much spice on the chitterlings and greens for my taste. My wife's Cajun Grilled Chicken was too dry. The service from the waiters can still be improved. However, the lady at reception was very friendly.Overall, still a recommendation.“
“The Cori Midden Kitchen is a quintessential American restaurant that offers an intimate and cozy dining experience akin to a homey dining room. The exceptional customer service, coupled with food cooked from scratch, made our brunch visit with a large party quite memorable. Our waiter, Cathy, provided attentive service, ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal. We indulged in a variety of brunch items, with favorites including the catfish nuggets and cornbread, alongside lamb chops(small lamb chops), deviled eggs, and fried tomatoes. For our entrees, the shrimp omelette, French toast, chicken and waffles, and catfish and grits were all exquisite. Despite a few minor mishaps, the overall experience was delightful, and I highly recommend this establishment for its delicious food. It was a nice touch when the chef personally greeted our table, adding to the warmth of the experience. Advisable to book your reservation in advance, I look forward to returning in the future.“
“The service was phenomenal. The gentleman that took my order, was friendly & professional.Keep up the great work.✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️He provided suggestions to me of the menu.My food was delicious, even though I ordered for takeout, the dining area was clean,as well as the staff were very friendly.I give this location ten plus stars.“
“I got the hibachi shrimp and the fish po boy. Both slapped dollar for dollar this one of the best takeouts in the metro. Would’ve paid double for that in the district. The interior is on par with all the other carry outs it’s not designed for your comfort. Get your food and slide out.“
“I come to Crafty Crabs often in sit at the bar but yesterday I decided to sit in a booth. I had Kayelle as a server and her energy was amazing. The place was pretty pack for a Monday with a lot going on but she continued to check on us, make sure she kept us updated, and help me sing Happy Birthday to a friend I with. I truly appreciate her professionalism through all of the stuff that was going on when I was there. To eat I had; Sweet Chill wings/ shrimp basket/ Calamarai/ and a seafood boil. All of my food was good but the Calamari was fried way too hard.My drinks was also strong, just like I normally like them :)“
