“This place reminds me of Pura Vida Miami. The customer service here is great, really nice staff and ambiance! Just know it can take time to get your order. There’s a good amount of seating too if you wanted to bring your laptop. I’d suggest passing on the matcha, it was a hard sip, next time I’d order food/smoothies- which is what they’re known for.“

“OMG! My favorite place for juice, smoothies, avocado toast and acai bowls now has SOUP! Just had their potato squash soup, and it was better than my homemade soup (which is also delicious). “I recently stopped by Smoothie King, and I have to say it was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with genuine smiles and a welcoming attitude. They were super helpful, answering all my questions about the different smoothies and making great recommendations based on what I was looking for.
I ended up going with the Island Impact smoothie, and it was blended to absolute perfection—fresh, flavorful, and refreshing. What made the experience even better was how fast and efficiently everything was handled. Even though there were a few customers ahead of me, my order was ready in no time.
The team really went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, and it showed. Friendly service, clean store, and delicious drinks Smoothie King truly delivered the best service, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!“

“I almost don't want to review it for fear of this hidden gem being overtaken by hype and becoming packed. However, it would be a disservice to not support the good people at Amen Cafe, so I will. This quaint, lowkey spot, tucked in the corner of Georgia Avenue and easy to walk by, is a MUST visit. The hospitality is unlike most cafes. They're attentive, kind, and make you feel secure in a home away from home feel. The Ethiopian coffee is some of the richest and boldest in the city, and if you want a huge wake up, get the ginger coffee. The fresh juice is refreshing and revitalizing, and always hits the spot. The pastries and sandwiches are solid as well, but by far if you're going to visit, get the Ful or Ful special, its a beautiful, rich spread that is my personal go to. I didn't even know I liked ful and now I'm hooked. I tried other cafes, no one in the city makes better ful than here. So yeah, I love my cafe, I hope it never leaves. Ameseghnalew“

“This is my first time visiting tropical smoothie. The atmosphere was relaxed. The workers smiled often and were kind. I ordered the peanut butter and banana smoothie it was so good! Someone shared some with me the other day and I decided to get my own. It was fulfilling! I also ordered the hummus wrap. It was a little more watery than I had vision, but it was tasteful and it satisfied me for the day I will be coming back to this location more often.“

“Eating here is a stark contrast to the Tropical at PG Plaza, the employees here are PRESENT and funny and MY BOWL WAS DELICIOUS!!! AND YOU SEE IT REFLECTED IN THE QUALITY OF THE REVIEWS HERE VERSUS PG WHERE THE ONE STAR REVIEW AT PG JUST KEEPS GETTING LONGER AND LONGER... I want so badly for PG to get its act together... It's closer to me, and because it's on the MD side of the line, it's CHEAPER because of the lower tax! It would cost me less in gas!!! My barber is even there.... “I can not believe this place. So first it has an indoor and outdoor place to order. The customer service was amazing. I was greeted and helped as soon as I walked in because they're were several people taking orders. Not only that but the Crabs were done already. I've never seen that before. It was like all she had to do was put them in a bag. They were still warm 15 minutes later when I was able to eat them. They were so so good too. I paid $20 for 1 dozen and I swear there were like 16 in the bag. This was super convenient as I was delivering a truck to Giant and could eat on My Lunch break.“

“When I first moved to Capitol Heights, I assumed that I would have to travel far for vegetarian/vegan food or make it myself. And how surprised was I that there was a vegan restaurant down the road! Each day the menu changes, so you could have a favorite every day of the week. And the portions! You can make SEVERAL meals out of one dinner. Is it cheap? NOPE! But something that's good for your body AND soul shouldn't be.“

“I purchased and tried all of the juices except for G-Wam because it's seasonal. My favorites in order were Tootie Fruity, Buff Me Baby, C-Plus and lastly Beet It. They all had their own unique taste as I used them for a 7 day juice cleanse. I will be back to purchase more!!“
