“Today was my first time coming to Annie’s. I was looking for a local place to grab breakfast and Annie’s did not disappoint. The bacon egg and cheese and pork roll egg and cheese on the English muffin was delicious! The owners could not have been sweeter! Can’t wait to come back and try more food next season!“

“First off want to say was our first time going Broken Spoke , happened be bring your pet for pics with Santa. Website was a little off cause did not know that they were having raffles and all was over @ 3pm when we showed up. Little disappointed however, Ellie greeted my dad with the biggest smile when we walked in and informed us that we pick a good first day to visit. We got wonderful pictures with Santa and enjoyed a tasting with the Ellie experience! She was very welcoming & made our experience delightful. We def go back to see her in the Summer, totally 5 stars for Ellie making our day! Thanks girl! Merry Christmas with positive vibes this coming New Year!“

“Stopped in for a wine tasting and Nancy who was our server and wine expert was fantastic to work with. She really knew their wine and guided us to select the flights to taste. Enjoyed a light lunch as well and the Chile was full of stuff and one of the best we have ever had“

“My daughter and son-in-law brought us to the Bayard House over the Christmas holidays 2024, and we were impressed-with the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the views! We wanted to do something special for our Army Captain daughter, Noella Rogers, when she promoted to Major yesterday. Remembering how much she and her husband, Jeff, love Bayard House, we called about getting a gift card. Chris Amon, (not sure of the spelling), Assistant General Manager, answered. When he told me that we'd have to come in and purchase it, I told him that we lived in Texas, so that wouldn't be possible. I was about to hang up, but Chris asked where my daughter lives. When I told him, he said that he lived close to her town and volunteered to hand-deliver it! Wow! He didn't have to do that! Not only did he hand-deliver it this morning, April 24th, he bought and placed it inside a card for her. Talk about going above the call of duty! Bayard House, hang onto Chris because that guy is gold! Everyone else, if you haven't tried it out yet, go get you something wonderful to eat at Bayard House! Chris, we look forward to thanking you in person the next time we come to Maryland for a visit!“

“Group of nine met at Deep Blue @ Kitty Knight for a meal together on a quiet winter day. Most of us had dined here years ago before Deep Blue was operating. Interior of restaurant is lovely and much improved. Our group enjoyed lobster rolls, salmon/sides, crab mac&cheese, pork chop/sides and soup. Everyone loved their meals. Service spot on. Looking forward to trying brunch one Sunday (10-1).“

Only negative was initial attempt to shunt us 4 or 5 (empty) rooms away to table in barroom of "tavern," but upon "Oh no we won't," manager gave us excellent table by the window in new DR.“
