“Love the atmosphere. The band was pretty good. Great food options and entertainment. Some of the menu items have nuts added which seem unnecessary. They should consider removing the nuts from the lobster dish.“

“I just hosted my husband’s 40th birthday here and the experience from start to finish was EXCELLENT! Candice was great to work with, designing a buffet menu and a space arrangement that worked with my party theme (murder mystery party for ~35 guests). We had the whole top floor and the vibes were immaculate and they set up the room exactly to my specifications and even made a couple changes on the fly (thank you!). I heard from so many people how great the food was — personally I LOVED the meatballs and the okra. Guests loved the wings, mac n cheese, channa masala, and sausage & rice especially. We had good drinks, friendly service, and an altogether wonderful time. Thanks so much to the Old Major team for making the evening perfect!“

I had to call the day prior to change the time and the change the time without any issues.
Our waiter SYLVAN was Perfect. He knew the menu well and all of his suggestions were spot on! The manager greeted us as we were leaving and this was a nice touch to the gathering.

“Spurrier's Restaurant and Lounge has an incredible view and surroundings from both in and out. I just spent but a day there, and I had an incredible time. The surroundings were neat and there were ample parking lot. Staff were polite, professional, and helpful. They do sell snacks. A special occasion gave me the chance to visit and to explore what do they offer. You can book a reservation. Stairs and elevator are available but I prefer using my legs. You can't miss it. It's within the city, and businesses are all around. I didn't order any food from there, so I don't know how their food taste, but what I can say is that the occasion I was invited to, the food was great. The food is more traditional based on the event. But overall, the staff were excellent and they did their very best to get everyone situated and to feel at home. ?

“When I stepped into Corkscrew on a Saturday night, I was struck by how much of a geniunely good time everyone was having. But when you consider that the DJ was doing his thing with banger after banger, it's little wonder.The food: I found it to be solid but some items were not as moist and flavorful as they could have been (the salmon), didn't have the kick they could have (the jerk egg rolls), and others saltier than they should have been (the collard greens), I really enjoyed their mac and cheese--it's perfect crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside--the way it's supposed to be. I would order that alone and be happy.The drinks: the bartenders were on point. We had a variety of drinks both on their menu and classics. They hit every time. They even make a great amaretto sour. The Corkscrew sour was a surprising and welcome twist on the sours we are familiar with. And I'm not embarrassed to say that I ordered an amaretto sour and enjoyed it. Like really enjoyed it. The bartenders are beyond belief.The music: we were initially disappointed that there wasn't live music this time but the DJ quickly made us forget all about it. He was playing hits from the 2000s, modern tracks, Afrobeats, Baltimore classics, and even some 70s all timers here and there. It was incredible.Vibe: the seats are so plush and comfortable that you don't want to leave. The interior design says sexy urban chic. You feel so damn elegant just being here.Service: the young man who served us was pleasant and noticeably polite. However, after we ordered from the menu, we were perplexed to see waiters walking by with plates of fried fish, steak, and salmon--all not listed on the menu.We didn't see him for some time but when we flagged him down, it turns out he that he forgot to tell us about the specials. Then he asked if we wanted him to tell us about the specials. It was as annoying as it was hilarious. I couldn't be mad at him at all.Overall: this place is awesome. We have to keep spots like this in Baltimore open at all costs. Please go support them and you'll have a great time doing it. 9/10“

“I usually try to stop here when passing through BWI, because the cocktails are among some of the best I've had. My most recent visit was no exception as far as my drink (the Baltimore Cosmo) was concerned, but it was especially nice because the bartender, Khadijah, was very friendly and a good conversationalist. “Great decor, music, I like the margaritas they already have mixed, perfect location to walk to after an event at Hippodrome as we did (and I have many great memories of this club back in the day when it was under different ownership as well). I was really impressed with the level of the music! It bumped loud enough that your body felt it and kept you dancing but low enough that you can talk to people and still hear each other so it's the perfect mix. Because of this I will def be coming back soon since it's a spot to both dance AND talk (which is actually very hard to find). Only 2 things. 1.needs a coat check 2.led lights were dope but the whites made it a little too bright but I know they're color changeable and dimable so it might just have been the settings while I was there and not an every day thing but I wished it was a little dimmer.“

We met the owner when we ordered and she helped us select dishes that met each our tastes. The food was delicious and was just like being back in the Caribbean. “I came to The garden today with a few guests and ended up staying all through the night- my bartender Mandy made amazing drinks and had me and my guests laughing the entire time, I love the upscale environment and embrace the requirement of dress code- it definitely gives a grown up vibe. The music was great and the football crowd was so much fun once I made it to the rooftop bar. Everyone was polite and accommodating from the doorman to the hostess to the bartenders and the manager stopped to check on us multiple times. I will be back!!!“
