“I have been coming to Waldo’s since 2017, and have always loved the warm and inviting atmosphere, the kindness of everyone behind the bar, and the feeling like you’re valued here. When I was young, I’d spend hours sitting and sketching, writing, meeting new people and playing board games. I’ve enjoyed many cups of coffee here and have gained some incredible, lifelong friends here. Waldo’s is truly a place of community and fosters a safe space for people to join together and enjoy the simple things, get work done, and create.“

“The restaurant was busy but the staff definitely kept up! Everyone was friendly. I ordered the shrimp basket with fries and it was delicious! Food came out fast and hot. The shrimp was juicy and pretty good size. The fries were amazing as well. So thankful they had sweet tea! If I ever get to come back out this way I'm eating here again!“

“I work in Gettysburg and our office gets carryout once a week. I ordered the cheesesteak special wrap with a side of fried mushrooms. The food took a little longer than they quoted on the phone, but it was worth the wait. Everything was hot and fresh, we will definitely be ordering again.“

My boyfriend and I were the youngest there by a long shot, but people were welcoming us in and having friendly conversations with us, which was awesome. Id recommend getting a flight first to decide what you like. I ended up liking just about every cider. The back porch was WARM even on a cold night. The live music was great too.“

We’ve eaten at restaurants with 5 star reviews on our trip but honestly the food we ordered and took back to our room from here was some of the best. The burger was thick and cooked perfectly! Fish tacos great flavor and my son loved his wings. Wait staff was very helpful and packed my to-go great with all the fixings.“

We came all the way from Ireland to visit Gettysburg. I would highly recommend staying and dining here. Eryn in the shop was so nice and she had Irish connections. We will 100% return .“

“The person I support through Penn-Mar Human Services loves coffee, so he created a tour of small business coffee shops. He said “Everything here is perfect! Their iced mocha & cannoli gets 5-stars!” He also wanted to note the friendly staff took a photo with him, they have fun decor, lots of delicious pastries, a large selection of iced, hot, & frozen beverages + food! The vibe is totally peaceful & friendly. Lots of items for sale from local authors, local artists, and other vendors. There is plenty of seating on two levels, an upstairs play area, and beautiful outdoor seating & tables. We’ll be back! Shout-out to Olivia, Piper, & Michelle for welcoming us for our first visit!“

“First time there. Spilled a beer, staff quickly helped mop up and replaced the beer. The burgers were excellent, the chorizo/beef taco's a little light on the meat, but very good to the taste. Bought a 4 pack to take out. 3 in the party and we were all very pleased with the beer, food, and service.“

“Went to dinner Sunday nite. Had a great server Stephanie. Good was good. When we were leaving we ask to speak to the manager on duty to tell her what a great server we had. The girl that had sat us came back and said the manager was to busy doing inventory but she told her the reason we wanted to see her. We believe in telling management when the have a good person working for them but obviously the manager needs to take lessons from her server! Very rude!“
