McDonald's in a strip mall on the western edge of Frederick near US 15 is a family-friendly restaurant with a normal-sized parking lot and wheelchair accessibility. The ordering kiosk works well, and the drive-thru staff are professional and hardworking. There have been some long wait times during busy periods, but the staff has been known to provide coupons for free food when delays occur. While some staff may lack accommodating attitudes towards dietary restrictions, the customer service is generally great, and the food is reported to be hot, fresh, and better than average for McDonald's.
