This isn’t just any sandwich shop—Isaac’s is home to the award-winning chicken sandwich that was named Best Chicken Sandwich in Maryland by the Restaurant Association of Maryland and ranked in the Top 10 at the World Food Championships. It’s even been featured on Good Morning Washington for its outstanding flavor. “I dropped in during Happy Hour by chance for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised to learn that Happy Hour Specials applied to table dining at full sized portions. It was great opportunity to try a pizza and a queso appetizer affordably.

They both were very tasty. The portion size of the queso was smaller than expected but so rich and flavorful that it was satisfying and good to share.

The atmosphere was family friendly despite many people meeting for drinks. My 11yo and I were comfortable and enjoyed our early dinner. I’ll return to try other menu items.“

The buffet included turkey, halibut, prime rib, chicken and they had plenty of great side dishes to include a delicious stuffing, grilled brussels sprouts, and string beans. The ambience could've included a little more Thanksgiving background, like a picture backdrop to memorize the day and some holiday music pipped into the seating area. Otherwise, all was great.“

“Takeout has its limitations. Tonight we ordered burgers and a pizza. They forgot the pizza and by the time it arrived the burgers were stone cold and the fries a soggy pile of grease. I want to support DFH but if it happens again, I'll wait until indoor dining resumes.“
