The only thing I felt was deserving of four stars out of five was my Thai Curry.
I have loved curry my whole life. I remember being treated to some genuine Thai Curry in Tysons corner at a Thai restaurant and it was sublime. The curry here was okay and it tasted good the next day as I brought leftovers home. It could be my palate needs a cleansing to forget such incredible deliciousness at that restaurant my friend brought me to that day but otherwise great great experience!

“the food is ok but not amazing. very small portions & the burger is $25 so it is very expensive. the chocolate cake was delicious. the place is tacky design lots of yellow & red & orange. when pay big bucks i prefer a really nice lighting & seats. hard uncomfortable seats. the menu is full of fancy food. could definitely use some better explanations so people know what is on it. I ordered a burger because I could understand what it was . I went for brunch with 3 friends and the bill without tip was $291. the service was good but could be better with filling the drinks. I probably won't go again because it is very expensive for what you get.“

Wish I took a picture! Visited here twice. If you go here, make sure to get SamSun Jjajang, which is like everything black noodles. I think this is one of the better ones I've tried in the DMV area. Solid jjajang. I mean, as long as they put a lot of ingredients for the price, I'd say it's pretty good. Oh and their Kkanponggi is good too.“

“This has very quickly become my go-to carryout/delivery place. The food here is SO GOOD and has a unique flavor profile that I haven't had anywhere else in the area. I've sampled a number of dishes at this point:
Thukpa Soup - delicious, hearty, especially great when under the weather.
Hot & Sour Soup - delicious and spicy, great proportion of vegetables, tastes quite different from the Chinese takeout version (in a great way)
Lamb Momo (with red spicy sauce) - really unique flavor and VERY tasty. I've ordered this twice now.
Chicken Chow Mein - pleasantly surprised that this was a bit spicy! Very satisfying and tastes quite different from the Chinese takeout version as well.
Chicken Biryani - Great flavor, love it! They do it right!
Paneer Masala - Great flavor, love it! They do it right!

“I recently attended the Charlie Wilson concert at the MGM National Harbor Theatre and decided to grab dinner at the restaurant Ginger beforehand. Although I had passed by it many times before, I was thrilled with the dining experience.

One of the things I appreciated most was the reservation process. I was able to make a reservation online. When I arrived, I received a text message notifying me that my table was ready. I replied and was immediately seated, bypassing those who had to wait in line.

The restaurant itself is located in a prime spot and has a beautiful setting. However, what surprised me was how quickly our food arrived. Despite the restaurant being busy, our drinks arrived promptly, and our food was on the table within five minutes of ordering. As someone who works in operations, I was impressed with their efficiency and speed.

Furthermore, the food was fantastic! My friend ordered the crab meat soup with spring rolls, while I opted for the sweet-and-sour chicken. Everything was well-seasoned and delicious. We spent a total of $74.88 (not including tip), which included our drinks, making it an affordable option compared to other restaurants at MGM National Harbor.

“After an awesome baseball game, I decided to hit up Bonchon, just a 5-minute walk from the stadium--a super convenient spot for a quick bite. Even with the post-game crowd, I was surprised at how quickly we were seated and our order taken.

It was my first time at Bonchon, but I'd heard great things about their wings. I went with the soy garlic wings and some fries. Let me tell you, these were the BEST wings I've ever had. Crunchy on the outside, fall-off-the-bone tender on the inside, and the soy garlic flavor was out of this world!

I'm definitely coming back to try more of their menu. If everything else is as good as the wings, I'm in for a treat!“

When Andrea left for the night, Ponce picked up right where she left off and took great care of us. We later sparked a conversation of the manager George and Sadi, who were both very welcoming. Although all 4 were great, I loved the chicken n friend rice most. $18 for the half chicken and two sides is a great value meal and the ingredients were fresh! Loved it
