Our kid was thrilled she could enjoy an ube steamer, too-- and didn't want to stir her drink because she found the art (Hiraya's logo in this instance) so beautiful. My server Marta, wasn’t only taking good care of me and my family. She was making sure I had an unforgettable experience, I try delicious food and made wonderful memories of this place.“

“the food is ok but not amazing. very small portions & the burger is $25 so it is very expensive. the chocolate cake was delicious. the place is tacky design lots of yellow & red & orange. when pay big bucks i prefer a really nice lighting & seats. hard uncomfortable seats. the menu is full of fancy food. could definitely use some better explanations so people know what is on it. I ordered a burger because I could understand what it was . I went for brunch with 3 friends and the bill without tip was $291. the service was good but could be better with filling the drinks. “After an awesome baseball game, I decided to hit up Bonchon, just a 5-minute walk from the stadium--a super convenient spot for a quick bite. Even with the post-game crowd, I was surprised at how quickly we were seated and our order taken.

It was my first time at Bonchon, but I'd heard great things about their wings. I went with the soy garlic wings and some fries. Let me tell you, these were the BEST wings I've ever had. Crunchy on the outside, fall-off-the-bone tender on the inside, and the soy garlic flavor was out of this world!

“Great spot to try dumplings. I got the pork jhol jhol dumplings and a side of naan bread. The soup was delicious, the broth was perfect and the dumplings were good as well. The naan bread was good but nothing special. With be back to try one of their other soups or dumplings. Portions are big, I only ate half my food and the prices are fair.“

“For a fast food place it’s good. The price is perfect as it’s in an expensive location. I did the beef sandwich and the Sichuan noodles.

The beef sandwich needs more flavor. The beef isn’t seasoned enough but the texture is perfect. A bit of extra scallions or ones baked into the scallion pancake buns would be awesome.

The noddles are really good but have a weird after taste. Mouthwash will clear it up. They’re much better than I expected for the price.“

“My go to chinese carryout place. Best place for chicken wings or other chicken pieces to eat as well and the fried rice. I tried fried rice from dozens of other carryouts and nothing comes close to their rice. Steak and cheese is the best and others dishes are great as well. Only problem is it's cash only other then that food is great.Btw ask for the hot sauce if you get fried chicken. The sauce is strong but goes well with the chicken!“

“Spicebird is a take-out place inside Makan. Ordered the half chicken with two sides - chicken n wood ear mushroom and the cold noodles. Additional two sides of the crispy potato and fried rice. Although all 4 were great, I loved the chicken n friend rice most. $18 for the half chicken and two sides is a great value meal and the ingredients were fresh! Loved it

“Red Maple is more than a sushi place and COULD be a great place to hang out. I’ve been a patron since they’ve opened and might dine in more if the atmosphere was more inviting. Every time I’ve dined in, only about 20% to 30% of their tables are full.

FOOD - They have a nice variety of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai entrees in addition to sushi. Generous portions that are full of flavor, and not overly sauced.

SERVICE - Although the restaurant was far from full on a Thursday night at 6:30, we were rushed every step of the way; from drink orders, to bringing the check. Instead of a leisurely meal with great conversation, there were constant interruptions beyond polite attentiveness.

ATMOSPHERE - I would not describe this place as cozy, more of a 90s club vibe - dark interior with bright lights. The menus could use a refresh as several of the prices were crossed off and written in with some items crossed off because they are no longer available. The temperature when I was there a few days ago was uncomfortable. To be fair, it was 90 degrees out, but it felt like it was also 90 degrees in the restaurant, and humid, with no fans.“
