“Cakes Plus provided a wonderful cake for my son's wedding several years ago, so my son recommended the bakery when I wanted to purchase a cake for my grandson's 30th birthday. I knew the words I wanted written on the cake, but didn't have a design in mind. Many, many thanks to Hannah for her patience and for helping me nail the perfect design!! Everyone loved the vanilla sheet cake. (See picture.) It was beautiful and delicious. Then, when I went to pickup the vanilla sheet cake, on a whim, I decided to also purchase a smaller, off the shelf, lemon cake with a balloon design. People who tried both cakes at the birthday events said both were amazing, but they loved the taste of the lemon cake more than the vanilla. I wish we weren't limited to rating this bakery 5 stars! Incredible food, fresh, nutritious, clean, affordable. There's fresh fruit cut up and ready to enjoy, fresh salads, a menu to order from, and a cafeteria-style buffet.

There's a bakery to die for! I was warned that if I go in the morning the line will be out the door, so consider going later on.

The staff are friendly and effective communicators. You won't be disappointed! Note: If you're white, anything that looks spicy probably is. But the flavour is exquisite.“

“There are 2 locations and the original has sweet people working, even on hectic days they keep a good attitude.
I love getting their sweet breads, tamales pan frances and of course cakes for special occasions.
Today is my son's birthday so we went for the chocolate flavored cake that has fruit on top and since it had cherries his favorite that's the one for today.
My family have been enjoying their treats for over 15 years and as long as their still around that's our number one choice.
2nd location is nearer to my house and I finally tried their food. I will say those pupusas were the best I've had since the motherland.
Macaroni salad and carne guisado is heavenly. Now those are my taste buds but I do recommend you go.

“The gents working the register and ice cream line were hustling. There were over 10 people in line. The service was great and quick. The icecream was fresh and mixed well. The gent at the register even signed us up for the rewards program while we checked out. Give these guys a raise! Great experience.“
