“Pho One has been my go-to and #1 pho place for the past 5 years!! I first tried their Chicken Pho back in January of 2022, and let me tell you—it is still the BEST pho I have ever had. I’ve tried so many other places, but nothing compares to Pho One!

They recently changed their plates so the broth stays warmer throughout the entire meal, which makes the experience even better. The atmosphere is amazing, and the employees are always so kind and welcoming.

I also highly recommend their Honey Sriracha wings—they are SO tasty! 🤤The prices are also very reasonable. I’ve been to places that charge $16+ for small portions, but Pho One gives you a delicious, satisfying bowl of pho at a great price.

They knew what was good in the menu. If you need some food or a place to chill before a flight check this place out. The price was perfect for the location and food. “This is a chill lounge for the older crowd. I've been going here on and off since I was around 25-26 due to the fact of the maturity of the crowd and the drinks are very nice as well. There's often a DJ but some music is usually playing otherwise. Ms. Donna and Mr. Chuck has been serving the community for many many years ?? providing a safe haven for you to come out and enjoy yourself. Probably time for a little upgrade but overall it's a very comfy lil spot ??.“

“They open at 6 a.m. and they close at 2 a.m., but be there before 1:40 am. They tend to close early due to regulations and fines. Don't show up at 1:50 am. Trust me, you won't get served!!! Also the store tends to be busy early mornings and Sundays.“

“Visited the new Mike’s for the first time today! Was greeted very politely by the front host stand staff and was seated immediately. We had Emmie as our server and she was attentive and friendly. We ordered the cream of crab soup which was the perfect texture and filled with lumps of crab meat, my husband and I were very impressed. “Great decor, music, I like the margaritas they already have mixed, perfect location to walk to after an event at Hippodrome as we did (and I have many great memories of this club back in the day when it was under different ownership as well). It bumped loud enough that your body felt it and kept you dancing but low enough that you can talk to people and still hear each other so it's the perfect mix. Because of this I will def be coming back soon since it's a spot to both dance AND talk (which is actually very hard to find). Only 2 things. 1.needs a coat check 2.led lights were dope but the whites made it a little too bright but I know they're color changeable and dimable so it might just have been the settings while I was there and not an every day thing but I wished it was a little dimmer.“

Wow, she covered Erykah Badu and I've never in my life heard anyone cover Badu, it was fantastic!! The owner and staff was great and the food was delicious. No,it's not a restaurant but they had a pop up chef selling Dinners...amazing food! Now let's talk about the drinks....the bartender was enjoyable, kind and she understood what I needed!!! “I stumbled into Melba’s on a Friday evening around 6:30 PM, not long after they had opened. The music wasn’t even playing yet when I walked in, but the place already felt welcoming. I sat at the bar and quickly realized it was cash only, so I stepped out to use the ATM. The fee was a bit steep, so I definitely recommend bringing cash ahead of time.

I ordered an $8 drink, which was strong and very much needed—and shoutout to my bartender Tiffany, because she definitely took care of me. That drink was good, okay? After the first one, the drinks kept flowing, and the night really picked up.

For food, I had the lemon pepper wings with fries and ranch. Even though I was already a little tipsy by that point, the wings were really good—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and hit the spot. And somehow, I even ended up with free food, which made the night even better.

Just to be clear for anyone planning to come: they charge at the door after 8 PM daily, so make sure you have cash if you’re arriving after that time. They also have happy hour, though I can’t remember the exact hours—it may be 5–7 or 6–7—but they offer $2 off drinks, which explains the $8 price during happy hour. Also, while the bar is cash only, the food is separate and you can pay for food with a card.

As the night went on, the music was on point—a great mix of old school and new school—and the vibes were just right. I made my way to the back where the dance floor is and fully immersed myself in the club/lounge atmosphere. I came around 6:30 and stayed until about 12:30, and honestly, I didn’t want to leave. I had other plans later, but if I didn’t, I probably would have stayed and danced all night.

Even if you come by yourself, you won’t feel alone for long. As long as you have an open personality and good energy, people will talk to you, dance with you, and make you feel right at home.

I haven’t been on a Monday yet, which is what they advertise for my age range (I’m 28), but I’m definitely planning to check it out. I also heard Sundays are house music, so if that’s your vibe, it’s worth stopping by.

Will I be back to Melba’s? Hell yeah.
