“Family style meals are fantastic. Had eaten at a Greek relative's house. Ordered for the first time. Not only was the food delicious, each order fed about 8-10 people with folks having seconds. Lots of leftovers. Several asked guests made sure they had Talia's number when they left.”

“This is not a five star restaurant by any measure, but the experience was awesome. I’ve driven by it maybe 1000 times so it could be my anticipation getting the best of me here but I was very pleased with everything here. It’s a very low-key nondescript almost austere overall vibe and it’s all cooked as you order, but pretty quick. I’ll come again!”

“Amazing sushi! I've tried Kusshi, kura Sushi, and Uzu Sushi in the Rockville area and was not impressed with their quality at all. However, Sushi Toro is always consistent with their quality especially for their price. The sushi tastes amazing and fresh, the service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is perfect for a date night or a casual dinner with friends. Easily the best sushi I've had in Rockville. Highly recommend!”

“Our family's favorite. Proud Crave Card powerusers! They are always coming up with new and delish flavors of ices, pops, custard, drinks, and every kind of dessert you can imagine. Plus they offer coffee and breakfast! . The Fall Gelatis are our go-to desserts. I just wish they would post the flavors of the day online, but that would be hard because there are so many!”

“This is an adorable wine bar- everyone is very nice and professional and they absolutely know their wine styles - it just feels like it caters a bit too much to older folks but could really attract more millennials with some improvements. With Rockville/Kensington becoming younger and younger there is a lot of potential to bring in more business if they remodeled a bit and boosted the atmosphere (better music, more talkative staff, maybe some wine-special events like a “Pinot noir night” or themed around highlighting specific regions…or trivia is always safe). Good luck!!”

“6 years after my first review, 7.5 years since I first darkened the door on my way to a job interview, and this continues to be my favorite place in the DMV. They have other locations now that are bigger and fancier, but the OG is homey, friendly, and perfect. The coffee and other drinks are delicious, the food is lovingly prepared by magicians in the tiny kitchen, tables are regularly cleaned, and the counter staff is always courteous and helpful even when swamped by the brunch rush. The over-medium eggs in my go-to huevos rancheros are always perfectly cooked, the slaw on the pupusas is a bright and crunchy accompaniment to the cheesy masa goodness, and the banana pudding made me a convert after not liking banana desserts for decades. When I've been able to tear myself away and order other things I've never been disappointed. They put just as much care into takeout orders as eat-ins. Yes, the prices are bougie, but I've never felt like I didn't get my money's worth in comparison to similar establishments. I've even bought a piece of art from one of their regular featurings of local artists on the wall. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.”

“I have never been so frustrated with this pension fund. I was approved inSeptember for my pension to start in October.Supposedly Oct and November check was mailed to me on November 3 or November 7 just depends on who u talk to at the pension fund This is December 1st and I still haven't received them.But December 1st pension check was deposited in my bank account. Way can't they do the same for October and November. I am at poverty level as for as income is concerned. It's my pension that I worked hard to get. I don't know what to do other than talk to attorney to g answers Where is my 2 pension checks and is how the pension works. U get it when we feel like giving it to you. I turned 65 in July 2022 when it was suppose to start. I didn't find the right pension fund until September. So the fund decides they can't or want go back to pay me.money that I work for. So they just keep it. Please tell me why? Let's get this matter taking care of before lawyer's get involved. Thank you Johnny McBrayer”

“The Lady is mean not the daughter but the mom, I don't what's wrong with her she always grumpy at me and the rice they don't mixed well when is fried rice you can see lot of white rice spot because they don't mixed well, I like the food but because of her attitude my head hurts alot when I go there ,that's right I don't buy often is really rare that I order food from there, she needs to change her attitude to get more customers.”

“A cute bakery with good coffee. I love their chocolate almond croissant. The atmosphere is pleasant, spacious, and comfortable, but nothing fancy. I like sitting in the front when the weather is nice. The staff are friendly, though some of them can be a bit slow.”

“Donut King saved the day for me today! I was in search of Wi-Fi for an important work meeting after my power went out due to the snow storm. I decided to walk 1.5 miles in the snow to the Starbucks nearby only to be turned away as they were only taking drive-through customers. Thankfully I decided to walk around the corner and found Donut King was open with free Wi-Fi! The employees were so nice and friendly despite the cold. I ordered a cappuccino and logged onto my computer just in time for my meeting. My coffee was hand delivered, along with several donuts on the house, which turned out to be the only food I had for much of the day. This was an unexpected and delightful treat. Thank you, Donut King, for making my day!! I hope others will read this review and give this place a try. The food is great and the warm and welcoming atmosphere is hard to find these days. This is a neighborhood gem!! Please support local businesses and give this place a try.”
