“I have not tried the food yet but will give a update when I do. I had a stressful week and it's my birthday month so I googled closet bars and this was the first one that one that pop up. And I must say no disappointment. Listen these Africans no how to party and they except everyone. The vibes is real. Listen and the drinks are worth the money they are not stingy. I will definitely be coming back lm Real vibes from a Trini. I was by myself but loved the vibe. I believe the manager or owner saw me standing at the bar and checked to see what I needed. And no disrespect I was the only African American by paper in the place but I felt loved . No matter what race come have fun I guarantee u will be shocked. Let's put them on the map“

“CK Lounge is the place to be in Bowie!! I came into CK Lounge for happy hour today. The bartender, Ghost, served me a phenomenal smoked Old Fashioned that set the tone perfectly. He walked me through the menu which has a wide variety of Afro fusion options. He suggested the suya and jollof rice and it was a hit!! I will definitely be returning.“

The atmosphere is incredible and the view is absolutely breathtaking and I could literally see the White House from where I was sitting, which made the night feel unforgettable. The space itself is stunning, beautifully designed, and every detail feels elevated. Even the bathrooms stood out and honestly some of the nicest I’ve ever seen anywhere. It’s rare to find a spot that combines a gorgeous view, great vibes, and such attention to detail, but Smoke and Mirrors nails it. Can’t wait to come back!“

“I like going there the pupusas are tasty. The waitresses a few waitresses are friendly and some of them look with a mean face. I don't know what's going The music that the DJ plays can be a little bit too loud or the sound needs to be improved. The place is big if you're trying to watch a game, there are a lot of TVs. You can find a variety of beers, mixed drinks liquor bottles,Michelada is my favorite.“

“Quality and taste wise amazing! The lamb could’ve been bigger portions but the chicken schnitzel was ample portions. The drinks were delicious. Would be interested in coming back for the chefs tasting menu. The bartender Mike Ross was super friendly and a delight to talk to!
Gave it a 4 because I felt the drinks could’ve been stronger for the price and the lamb portions could’ve been bigger. The shrimp appetizer was also a bit too salty.
The rooftop was a vibe for sure. Looked beautiful once the sun started setting!

“Mannnnnn!! This place was ?, it's a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it last Thursday and they had a live band. Wow, she covered Erykah Badu and I've never in my life heard anyone cover Badu, it was fantastic!! The owner and staff was great and the food was delicious. No,it's not a restaurant but they had a pop up chef selling Dinners...amazing food! Now let's talk about the drinks....the bartender was enjoyable, kind and she understood what I needed!!! We had an incredible time and will be going back Thursday...don't let the appearance fool you, very quaint with good energy!!“
“I've been to District Alley on H St and District Alley on U St. The three owners Nate, Danielle and Marq are very hospitable and kind. The atmosphere is very welcoming. They have notable DJ's who spin at both spots, the drinks are on point and so is the food. I highly recommend you check them out.“

“I really enjoyed their jerk chicken. First of all it’s actually made on the grill. Second you smell it the moment you enter the parking lot. I get my grilled with the sauce on the side and it was perfect and authentic. Whoever said it was burnt and thought that pic was proof knows nothing about jerk chicken. Mine was super moist. I liked it and I recommend.“
