“I went to a Friendsgiving Saturday November 15, 2025 and everyone that was invited had to bring catering. And let me tell you, man did I I hit a home run with Shah’s Halal Food! 💯🗣️😋 the food was delicious and it was gone within an hour lol I ordered chicken, lamb, rice and veggies the very same day and the manager was caught off guard when I told him that I needed within a couple of hours lol the manager and his staff very friendly and professional, even gave me extra sauces and gave me a free soda 👍🏽👌🏽 I truly thank these guys and would recommend them to anyone for any catering service, thanks again Shah’s Halal, until next time 🤛🏽👊🏽“

“Very pleasant experience at this family owned place. Lots of parking spaces, spacious seating arrangements. Neat and clean.
Let’s talk about food. We order the hot & sour soap to begin with and it was delicious. Serves 3 people easily. Sesame chicken was delightful marinated and seasoned. Beef chili was great too.

“At first we were a little surprised to be eating in a Days Inn -- and Al-Madani is unassuming atmospherically. However, the food was flavorful and delicious (aloo palak, lamb tikka kabobs, garlic naan), and the staff were wonderfully kind and caring. I feel like this is a hidden gem and hope many more people find them and that they get lots of business!“

“Honestly, we weren’t expecting much here. It feels more like a club café next to the basketball gallery than a restaurant. You know, the kind of spot where students grab a quick bite after a game. So yeah, I was ready for bland food or maybe even leftovers.

But wow, we were so wrong. Everything is halal, the lady at the front not only took our order but made the sandwich right in front of us. The fries? Insanely good. The sandwich? One of the best we’ve had. Before leaving, she even surprised us with her special Baklava, which was the sweetest touch.

Sure, the seating could use some love and a good clean-up. But honestly, I’d still give this place 5 stars, just for her warmth and kindness. She looked so happy when we told her how much we loved the food, and that made the whole experience even better.“

“The owner is phenomenal and super kind and charismatic. He makes the place feel like home and the employees are all sweet and smiles. The food is great and they have added lots of options. The nashville chicken sandwhich is my favorite thing here but if you want something healthy I recommend the chicken over rice. 10/10 reccomend spot to check out especially if you’re hungry late at night!“

“I had the chance to visit Upper Crust Pizzeria & Deli on my recent business trip to Columbia, and it did not disappoint. I had no much free time to eat something and that's why I went to the nearest pizza house. I ordered their signature specialty pie, the “Mt. “My husband and I are from out of town. once we tried Maiwand Grill, we make sure to stop by almost everytime we cone to Baltimore. Everything we have had from here is top quality and delicious.“

“I like their food, but they should make drinks mandatory with orders. Sometimes, for some reason, even if you select a drink, it doesn't appear on the order. And when you ask for it, they don't want to give it to you. And even when they have given it to me, they do it as if it were a courtesy. It's included in the price. If you explicitly say you don't want a drink, that's fine, but it's not always like that. And some employees should be more courteous in these situations.“

“After traveling from Texas and being tired and hungry we found this place on Google. The overall experience was absolutely amazing. The owner was wonderful and very helpful, he went out of his way to help us with the menu.

Our food was so full of flavor and authentic. Our taste buds were dancing with joy. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy our food with high expectations and not be disappointed. With young kids who can be picky, they loved their food and asked to good back again.

The food was packaged wonderfully once we return to our hotel the food and everything was in place and fresh. This is a virtual kitchen so there is no seating area but your food is prepared for take away and it was not all over the place. They really take their time to make sure your food is prepared and package well for your enjoyment.

Kid-friendliness: Our kids were very hungry and tired after a long travel day and the owner gave them a some chicken over rice while we waited for our food. He really extended kindness to them and we greatly appreciate it.“

“Granted I haven't been to their restaurant locations, their pop-up location that features their food truck in Forestville Plaza is where my mom was blessed to bring some of their food home for the family to try. Quick story, one weekend I was driving by with her in my vehicle and suddenly we smelled a delicious aroma as well as saw smoke coming from the grill. She noted the place in her mind this weekend she was able to venture there. She relayed that they had a good amount of customers ordering food but the personnel was so patient, kind, and helpful. She brought home some grilled chicken, lamb, jollof rice, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. Majority of the meat and jollof rice was in one container, but altogether enough to feed a family of three people with huge appetites. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was their grilled chicken! It paired nicely with their mustard sauces, especially the hot mustard sauce! They also have The most unique and delicious joloff rice I've ever tasted in my life! The taste of Senegal cannot be compared! I've tried other West African food, but Senegalese food stands out like no other! Originally, Ivorian food was my favorite, but now I can add Senegalese food to my new list of favorite West African food! You have to try it - you won't regret it! I look forward to going to one of their restaurant locations!“

“This was my first time ever trying Dave’s Hot Chicken. I was originally planning to try the Rockville location, but since they didn’t have online ordering, I ended up taking a few buses to the Silver Spring location instead. Honestly, I’m glad it worked out that way.

I ordered Hot, and while the flavor was good and the chicken was juicy, it wasn’t spicy at all for me. If you’re into real heat, you’ll probably want to go Extra Hot or higher. Overall, solid food and a good first experience.“

“My husband and myself stopped in last night, 6/6/2024 after stopping at the dispensary because the smell coming from crimson coward smelt absolutely amazing and delicious. We both got the crimson sandwich and I got the mac and cheese as well and omg it was all absolutely mouthwatering and delicious! We got our daughter a kids meal to bring home to her since she was at her friends and she even loved it, even the crimson sauce which we didn't think she'd like. We will definitely be back! Told my husband next time I'm getting the burrito and im gonna add the mac and cheese to it and roll it back up to eat cause I guarantee it would be beyond amazing!“
