“The location in DC has better food quality.I tried the beef Koobedah and it is good. However the lamb and chicken kabobs were very dry and tough. I definitely had better at other kabob places. I hope they improve the quality of the kabobs. For now, I would consider other places for tender and well seasoned proteins.“

The service is also quick and friendly, whichs makes everything even better. We started with some steamed dumplings and followed with intestine over rice and fried egg, Sichuan beef noodles soup, and flounder with sour pickled cabbage noodle soup. Everything was absolutely delicious. To finish, we tried the black rice coconut milk dessert. I tried and enjoyed - the curry fish cakes (crispy, well spiced, a little spicy), great wrapped in lettuce with the sweet dipping sauce - drunken noodles with pork which has perfectly chewy noodles with a lot of flavor, a ton of perfectly cooked and tasty veggies - pad see ewe with beef and gai lan (so glad it wasn't broccoli) I did find I had to drink a lot of water after likely due to a ton of sodium. If you want spice ask for the condiments and try the dry chili. It's delicious and packs a real punch. Our friends enjoyed the crispy fried tofu appetizer and pad Thai with tofu“

On my most recent trip I got the Katsu Curry, one of my favorite Japanese comfort food dishes. The curry was thick, rich, and super delicious; bold with flavors, and had potatoes, onions, and beef chunks! Which in combination with the crispy pork katsu on top, its a great combination. They give you plenty of rice and curry too, I just wish there was a bit more katsu given the size of the rest of the plate. Service is really great too, servers are friendly and attentive. I've been here multiple times and it's always a pleasure to dine here.“

“Another new local place. I've shopped at the Safeway four years now, even got carryout from Ledo's next door, but this was my first time trying Tom & Ray's. They had me at milkshakes... And all day breakfast sealed the deal. My wife had the French toast, I had a milkshake and corned beef hash with eggs, toast and potatoes. “Today I delivered a refrigerator to this restaurant, the staff was very pleasant and friendly, when I was finished with my delivery Sateeb offered me lunch. I haven’t had Indian food before so I was a little reluctant to try. I’m glad I did. I had the chicken lollipop, the flavor was unmatched, totally taken by surprise. He then offered chicken biryani, this is a traditional dish, it was amazing. All the sauces were good. 10/10 I would recommend and definitely will be going again“

“Vegan reviewer here! It was my first time to Yuan Fu Vegetarian and based on the reviews I was really excited to try them out. I went on a Friday night around 8 PM. From the outside it's nothing spectacular which is a great sign of authenticity. Right when you enter there's booths and tables with the counter at the back. They were about 1/4 occupied. I decided to seat myself in a booth and was greeted right away and handed a menu and was asked what I wanted to drink. I ended up deciding on the pecking duck which was the most recommended menu item and the vegetable chow foon since that dish is one of my favorites to order at any Asian restaurant. The both dishes came out about 10 minutes later. I had never had real pecking duck but wow this was delicious. The plum sauce really complimented the dish. Definitely order this dish. The chow foon was alright. Rice noodles really soak up any sauce you put on it so I was disappointed when there wasn't much flavor. The noodles were also pretty soft and I like them to have a bit of a bite. I asked for chili oil and soy sauce to jazz it up and it did the trick. I have a big appetite but had to ask for boxes. The service and food were great overall and I definitely plan on coming back and trying other dishes. One thing I will say is I asked for an itemized receipt and they had to handwrite it since they don't have a digital system. Both dishes came out to just under $35. Can't wait to come back!“

“I love Ben and Jerry's and am so happy they have vegan options at their scoop shop.This location has a small seating area. About 15 people could eat indoors. When the weather is nice there is plenty of outdoor seating.The employees were very kind and helpful. I came with friends and they had so much patience handing out samples and answering out questions about the vegan flavors and which cones were vegan friendly. I got the nondairy Whirled Piece and the nondairy chocolate chip cookie dough on a sugar cone. The ice creams were great! You would never know it was vegan: the cone tasted a bit stale. Next time I visit this location I will either get a cake cone or just a cup so I do not have the disappointing taste in my mouth of an old sugar cone.“

“I've been hearing great things about Hornets Nest Grille for awhile now. Several of my coworkers live up near the Damascus area, and always rave about this place. So, today I decided to give them a try, and see for myself. I ordered the grilled chicken cobb salad for lunch. It was nicely put together including all my favorites (ie: blue cheese crumbles, hard-boiled eggs, nice thick slices of avocado). I definitely want to explore the other options on the menu & look forward to visiting again in the near future.“

“The food at Say Vrai is simply Delicious without fail - and my family has tried nearly every item at this point! They make what is unquestionably the most delicious chocolate chip cookie I have ever tried in my life, and I am including all the dairy and gluten filled cookies I had before developing food allergies. The people who work here are lovely and so helpful in every possible way in every interaction. My one and only complaint is the unpredictability of their hours of operations as I have TWICE driven the half hour here only to find a dark storefront - I STRONGLY recommend the operators consider some method of letting fans like myself know they will be closed during what would be their normal operating hours.“
