“MJ’s Café is a small, cozy restaurant near the intersection of Highways 27 and 30 in Manchester Maryland. The food on the menu is all home-cooked comfort food and is delicious. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and we never had to wait for anything we needed. This is a great place to grab a delicious and expensive bite to eat.“

“Very nice place on a convenient corner, featuring excellent coffees and superb cuisine! Shop is clean and tastefully ordered and arranged. Baristas were friendly and kind, and provided good service. The first time I actually “liked” coffee was while in Sweden 20 yrs ago… Being in town for work and errands and seeing “Fika” was a sign for me to swing in for a cup and a bite. Swedish cardamom bun is not a cinnamon bun, but uniquely as delicious in its own right. Over the years I’ve come to love and appreciate the differences of color and tastes and styles across the globe of God’s art palette. Everything here was fresh, and garnished with care and excellence. Breakfast sandwich panini = gourmet… housemade focaccia bread adds just the right distinction for inherent local taste not easily replicated. Come out and try it!Ps. “I usually don't take time to review places, but I had to after visiting this little shop. I ordered 2 specials from their New Year's menu, and they were phenomenal. The crab omelet was seasoned perfectly, and the croissant had no shortage of sauce and filling. Perfection. My daughter also ordered 2 cupcakes, and they were outstanding as well. I will def be coming back to see what else this place has to offer. I ate everything, otherwise I would have photos.“

“I ordered a cake a few weeks ago for a birthday celebration. The process was very easy. I only had specific requests of flavors, no specific decor except for color. Due to illness we had to delay the celebration and I was unable to cancel my order on time. I picked up the cake at the scheduled time and it was ready and looked amazing. I froze the cake in the box and wrapped it in saran wrap. I pulled it out of the freezer and put it in the fridge 48 hours prior to serving it. Everyone enjoyed it! It still was moist and flavorful, you couldn't even tell it had been frozen.I've had numerous treats from here and they've all been dangerously delicious!“

“I have used this bakery twice recently. Once was a custom cake at Christmas time, 2 granddaughters with birthdays the week of Christmas, what nerve of their mother,LOL.i asked for minimal decoration in red and green and maybe some scroll work. It was gorgeous and I accepted the recommendation of the French butter cream, which was so good. And then more recently, I just popped in a Saturday, just about 3 hrs prior to their closing time, in need of a birthday cake. So, of course I had to choose from what was in the case, which is not my preference. My family is very picky, myself included, and let me tell you, we have all unanimously decided this is our bakery of choice. The cake was beautiful, moist and oh so delicious. I have learned over the years that you get what you pay for, and while the price might seem a bit high to you, please don’t let that deter you from using this bakery. Both cakes were well worth their weight in gold and not a bad thing to say. Even the one I was concerned about buying, a pre-made cake, was moist and fantabulous!!!! “They have the best soft pretzels and hard pretzels in Hanover. The extra dark hard are so unique. All the flavors are good. Wish they had cheese dipping sauce but you really don't need it. Parking can be odd at times but it's worth it. Friendly staff too. **they now have cheese dipping sauce!!“

“Food is great and the fruit market is really wonderful. They bring the fruit during the season right from their orchard to the market for sale. They make their own pies and jams and are open all year. The restaurant has good home cooked food many local people eat here and the food portions are a great value. I have never had a bad meal here. We get fruits and vegetables from here all of the time. I'm the fall if you go out to the farm they have pick your own fruit and pumpkins. It's a great way to entertain the little ones.“
