“MJ’s Café is a small, cozy restaurant near the intersection of Highways 27 and 30 in Manchester Maryland. The food on the menu is all home-cooked comfort food and is delicious. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and we never had to wait for anything we needed. This is a great place to grab a delicious and expensive bite to eat.“

“I have used this bakery twice recently. Once was a custom cake at Christmas time, 2 granddaughters with birthdays the week of Christmas, what nerve of their mother,LOL.i asked for minimal decoration in red and green and maybe some scroll work. It was gorgeous and I accepted the recommendation of the French butter cream, which was so good. And then more recently, I just popped in a Saturday, just about 3 hrs prior to their closing time, in need of a birthday cake. So, of course I had to choose from what was in the case, which is not my preference. My family is very picky, myself included, and let me tell you, we have all unanimously decided this is our bakery of choice. The cake was beautiful, moist and oh so delicious. I have learned over the years that you get what you pay for, and while the price might seem a bit high to you, please don’t let that deter you from using this bakery. Both cakes were well worth their weight in gold and not a bad thing to say. Even the one I was concerned about buying, a pre-made cake, was moist and fantabulous!!!! Your custom cake and cupcakes were a show-stopper. ***I ordered a Highland Cow 6” cake (peanut butter mousse with chocolate icing) and sixty plus highland cow cupcakes (yellow, chocolate and pumpkin flavors) to supplement.The butter cream frosting had the perfect combination of flavor, smooth texture with just the right amount of sweet. The cake and cupcakes were fresh and moist (even after I had them in the refrigerator for an extended amount of time). The Cake Bar captured the perfect amount of frosting to cake ratio. Each treat was and simply scrumptious.The cake and cupcakes were delicately decorated and exploding with “WOW”. Your skill, creativity and artistic talent are remarkable. Each cupcake and the cake were a work of art of their own.From my initial inquiry, working through a concept and to final delivery, I was given a really personalized and professional service. “I follow this place on Facebook but never knew exactly where it was. I drove past it so many times, never noticed. Then I'm at Sourh Hanover lakes, looking at the map, and noticed it was right there. Of course I had to try some coffee.They sell crafts too. Very nice server/cashier.“
