“We’ve ordered pho to go before and tonight we dined in and ordered rice platter and vermicelli. I’m pleased to say this is one of the very solid Asian restaurants I’ve ever been to. And definitely one of the top in DC. I highly recommend and this will be one of our regular restaurants to go to since we live close by.“

“5 stars for the beef noodle soup - soup is delicious and beef is so tender it falls apart when you pick it up with chopsticks.

Wontons are delicate and delicious, if a bit salty. The dumplings are alright, skin is a bit too thick. The pork burger is alright. Broccoli is a pass - seasoning is patchy and too vinegary. Would definitely come back for the noodles.“

“With the weather beginning to get colder - what better time to start exploring to find great Pho restaurants in the DMV.

My friend and I decided to try Pho House because of its very central location, and also because of its great reviews.

Overall, the food was delicious and the we were able to add extra meats and make substitutions to our orders which was great.

The broth that I had with my Pho was very well made. The flavours were substantive, as were the meats that were in the dish.“

“Bandoola Bowl at Western Market, is a gem for quick and flavorful meals. I frequent the place whenever I run errands nearby and am always impressed. My go-to is the pork spicy noodle bowl, which never disappoints. The roasted pork pairs beautifully with fresh, crunchy cabbage, romaine, onions, tomatoes, red bell peppers, cilantro, and lime. The crispy garlic and fried shallots add a satisfying texture, and the sweet soya sauce ties everything together perfectly.

One of the standout features is the staff—they’re incredibly friendly, chatty in the best way, and always welcoming. “Food was excellent and the space is really pretty! Great place for vegans. There aren't specifically vegan items but many menu items can be made vegan, just ask your server, ours was very knowledgeable and quick to check with the chef to make sure a dish could be made vegan. We had a great time and will definitely be back!“

“I like this place. The noodles are solidly good. Zero complaints. The staff are generally nice, which is not always true of fast casual places. I've liked everything I've gotten there: pesto zoodles, pesto cavatappi, Japanese pan, pad thai, penne rosa, fresca, Mac. I was surprised by the fat content, but maybe that's why they're so good ? I even like that they have Izze drinks“

“Great menu options that are customizable. The cookies are to die for. Wonderful staff and manager is super nice. I went in one night that was super duper cold. He allowed a homeless person the chance to sit in for a while to warm up as they prepared for closing. How sweet was that?!

Vegetarian options: As a pescatarian, I love the options they have with the shrimp or beyond chicken for protein additions.

Kid-friendliness: The menu for kids is perfect. My daughter wishes they would bring the fun kids shapes pastas back though“

“This location is now closest to my job. I don't ever have a wait when I go in. I have done dine in and pick up. They always have my food ready and occasionally forget an item or 2. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Their drink machine is the kind that you can pick any flavor in any soda, but the ratio of syrup to soda is always off in my opinion. The place is well maintained and they keep everything stocked well.“

“This place had been on my list for a while now and finally had the chance to dine in. The food was so flavorful and well cooked. The service was excellent. Will definitely return to try more different items. Good portion sizes too! The desserts looked amazing, I will certainly save room for a piece of cake next time.“

“Really cool experience! All the food is fresh and delicious! They have a wonderful array of options to make your Hibachi Bowl. I personally got a Pick 2 Combo with steak and shrimp and I loaded the bowl full of almost all their options. I brought the whole family and everybody was very happy! I would certainly recommend Sakura Go!“

The atmosphere and food quality are great; plus the customizable “create your own” options.Only caveat/downside is that the cost can add up really quickly with the DIY options. (My $8 Red Curry Noodles went up to $18 when I swapped tofu for Chicken and added shrimp).It still tasted really good, though. Next time I want to try one of their salads (they’re huge!!!). I would eat here over Noodles & Co.“

“Drunken noodle with seafood was delicious. It was medium spicy and the sauce was just right amount and well cooked. Seafood in the noodle was fresh as well. Iced tea was also good. The building is really old so it has that old building smell and stickiness. Staff was very friendly. I would love to try more dish.“

“The tasty food is one thing BUT one thing which stood out for me is their great customer service. Jane and her other colleague were all smiles, kind and attentive. You can tell they love the job that they do. This is the kind of service you wanna comeback for more. I also appreciate that they're wearing a transparent mouth shield as it looks more neat than a regular mask. They offer free soup and coffee on top of your regular order which is great since it's winter around this time. I hope they can be consistent with their business approach and I wish their new store a success!“

“This place has definitely improved.It use to smell really bad but that has changed. The menu changed and for the better. The popcorn chicken is really good, as well as the orange and fish! The friend rice isn’t great. The mango chicken has way too much sauce. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this place.“

“Amazing dumplings. Chicken and ginger were great. Takes a little longer since they make them to order. Worth the wait. Normally it is busy, but no line today.

Seating in the space minimal, but rooftop of Union market gives more space.

Parking: Park in the neighborhood and walk. Parking lot can be full.“

“A build-a-bowl shop with rice or noodles in the L'enfant food court. Ask for extra sauce! Their flavors are perhaps a bit more bland than "Asian standard."

Vegetarian options: Great tofu or veggie options, but stored in the same case as the meat.“

“I had such a wonderful experience here today! I cannot believe this place has only 3 stars. It deserves 5 in every way. I ordered my pad Thai and the very kind man working there made it to order right in front of me. There were plenty of other customers, but it was done quickly and the portion size was very generous (I could barely finish it). The quality and flavors were everything I want in pad Thai. He waved to me as I left and it was overall such a pleasant experience! I plan to return. Thank you!“

“We had a party of 9. They opened up their basement room for us and sat us at a round table with lazy Susan in the center. The service was excellent! Our waters were always full, orders were taken quickly and food came out much faster than we expected. The portions were large and in proportion to the charge. Everything we had was delicious!“
