“Just discovered a gem nearby. I ate at Kandahar on 36th Street. It is owned by the previous general manager of The Helmand. What a delight. Most reasonable prices and the food was excellent. The last few times I went to the downtown location it wasn't as good, I now know why. If you haven't been there, I promise, you won't be disappointed. 5 stars”

“Terri’s Café is wonderful! I regularly use them for catered executive lunches and dinners, and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh, homemade, and delicious. I especially appreciate that they use all white-meat chicken breast, and everything is seasoned perfectly. something for every palate.  Their delivery is always on time, which is so important when you’re coordinating an executive meal. And for the quality and generous portions, their pricing is very reasonable, which makes them an excellent value for catering.  Beyond the amazing food and service, Terri’s Café is family-owned, and the owners are genuinely lovely people. You can tell they take great pride in what they do and truly care about their customers.  I highly recommend Terri’s Café for catering or just a great meal. They are consistently reliable, delicious, reasonably priced, and a pleasure to work with!”

He got the chicken jambalaya and I got the seafood and let me tell you it was AMAZING!! It was way too much for lunch I felt like I needed a nap after eating all that but man it was fantastic. The shrimp mussels and catfish were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the rice delicious I couldn't wait to take the next bite. Will definitely be going back and taking others with me to experience this place. The price is exactly what you should expect for this quality and type of food, it was delicious and the service was fantastic so yeah you pay for that this isn't your local Dennys thank God. I love finding places like this then sharing with others so glad my coworker shared it with me.”

“I have recently discovered Pioneer Pit Beef, and what a gem it is. Good old-fashioned pit beef. No nonsense! The super size sandwich is enormous, and worth every penny. You might have to wait in line, but it is definitely worth the wait. Buy an extra sandwich, because you will want another one after you taste the best pit beef in Baltimore!”
