“Ordered lunch today and it was delicious! Perfectly seasoned and large portions. We ordered takeout, shortly after my husband picked up we received a call letting us know something was missing and they’d deliver it right away. They didn’t have to do that, but went out of their way to make sure we were happy customers and we absolutely are!“

When I was leaving she offered me a soda from the fridge. I don’t know if it was part of the meal but I did not read that so it felt like a kind gesture. Amazing service with good food. Only complaint is there is no dining area. Even a few tables would be nice for taking someone out to eat. Great resturant“

“The sweet and sour chicken is really good! But the orange chicken was meh. The lo mein was dry. And the appetizers (the ribs, pork dumpling, & crab rangoons) left something to be desired. But if you’re eating here, you already know that it’s commercial and not super authentic anyway. Wait till there’s a deal to eat here—we had a free appetizer and a discount, so I don’t regret it. I just wouldn’t want to pay full price for this place.“

“I always order Chinese takeout from this place and I am never disappointed. The quality is consistent and the ingredients always taste fresh. I like that they don't smother the entree' in a lot of sauce, but enough to make it very tasty. I also like the amount of vegetables they put in the Kung Pao Chicken and the medium spice level is perfect. I also love their crab Rangoon. The wrappers are light and delicate, and the dipping sauce is the perfect compliment. I highly recommend this place. The staff/owners are friendly too. Support small business!“

I get a pleasant man who apologizes profusely for the apparent mixup with my order. Refunds me half the order, makes me a fresh order and has it delivered in under 20mins. While originally a little disappointed; the customer service and the delivered food being hot and delicious has more than made up for the slight inconvenience of having to wait. Thank you!“

“I ordered lo mien and won ton soup and I would say they both have a different taste than what I’m used to. It’s not as mid as mall Asian food, as the noodles are actually normal size. Lots of scallions in the soup, which I like! But the won ton dough itself was hard, not soft at all.“

The owner change the karaoke night from Wednesday to Friday which is not an issue for me because it fits my busy schedule more. After a long weekend I can enjoy a night to sing and grab a drink.

“Love this place! Haven't eaten here for years ever since I moved to another state but I'm glad we came here for dim sum when I was in the area. We arrived 15 minutes before opening time on 11am on a Sunday morning and were almost immediately seated. There were already some people eating. Immediately after being seated, the food carts started coming by with a large variety of steaming hot dishes. Food was steaming hot and delicious! The waiter was very attentive, stopping by often to serve us hot tea, iced water, drop off the soy sauce and chili oil when requested, and pick up the empty dishes. The food carts also came by frequently in case we wanted to get more dishes. By 11:10am there was a line of people waiting for a free table. We finished our meal in record time by 11:30. Excellent service! Will come by again when I'm in the area.

Edit 10/6/24:
Had a severe craving for dim sum after coming back from Europe. Arrived 11:30am on Sunday and was seated pretty quickly. Ordered our favorites: beef stew, siumai, sharkfin, stuffed bean curd, sticky rice, etc. The server for our area was really quick with tea, waters, chili oil, picking up empty steamer baskets and dishes, bringing us any extra food to take home, extra take home containers, and getting our bill at the end. If the envious people at home hadn't put in last minute take home orders, we would have been in and out within 30 minutes.“

“I wanted to try a new place. So, I got the General Tso's chicken combo with pork fried rice and a shrimp egg roll. I absolutely loved the fried rice with the little bean sprouts in it. My shrimp egg rolls were full of shrimp. And my chicken was very good too.

It tasted good cold later on, too.“

“Last Sunday I ventured to Ja Kum Sung, a Korean restaurant in Glen Burnie. The name “Ja Kum Sung” means “The Forbidden City” in Chinese characters, but it’s written in Hangul as Ja Kum Sung. This place is renowned for offering a taste of everything Korean cuisine has to offer, including Korean-style Chinese food. Yes, you heard that right—Korean-style Jajang myeon!

Jajang myeon, also known as black noodles, originally hails from the Shandong region of China as 炸醬麵. It made its way to Korea in the 1890s and has since evolved into the Korean-style Jajang myeon we know and love today. This restaurant’s Jajang myeon is nothing short of a masterpiece. I highly recommend the “Gan Jajang,” where the sauce, made by stir-frying chunjang without starch with vegetables and meat, is served separately.

The noodles are thick and chewy, and the fresh ingredients make each bite a delightful experience.

But wait, there’s more! Alongside the Jajang myeon, I also ordered Galbi tang. This soup is a heavenly concoction of tender, slow-cooked beef ribs in a rich, flavorful broth. My wife opted for Dogani tang, a dish similar to Seolleong tang but made with bovine cartilage instead of sliced beef. The milky bone broth topped with thinly sliced green onions is a sight to behold and a treat for the taste buds.

For our main course, we chose Yusanseul, a Korean-Chinese dish that originated in Korea. It’s a delightful stir-fry of shiitake mushrooms, sea cucumber, bamboo shoots, enoki mushrooms, shrimp, pork, chives, ginger, and garlic, thickened with starch. Just like Japchae, Yusanseul is a favorite among Koreans.

This restaurant is not just a place to fill your stomach; it’s a place to experience the essence of Korean cuisine. If you ever find yourself in Glen Burnie, make sure to visit this spot. You’ll enjoy delicious food and have a great time.“
